Does water taste better at night?

I wouldn’t say tastes better as much as it is satisfying. Nothing more relieving than waking up in the middle of the night thirsty af and having a lot of water on the night stand ready to chug before falling back asleep.

weirdly the ultimate best tasting water is when you're kind of sick/running a fever and wake up around 3 or 4 in the morning and you chug that room temperature water. that's when it's supreme

I think water is refreshing anytime I'm really thirsty. It has to be ice cold, though.

But I've never chugged a glass of water late at night, so I don't know that feeling. I start to limit my water intake around midnight so I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I only get water if I wake up and my throat is too dry and scratchy to fall back asleep, and even then it's only a few sips.

You know when you wake up at 4AM disoriented and super thirsty, and you grab that glass of stale, dusty water that’s been sitting on your bedside table for 2 days and just chug it before going back to sleep??

That’s when water tastes the best and I will die by this opinion

Water tastes the best when you're parched or after exercising. But at the end of the day, water is always good regardless of the time of day, I try not to drink water part 8 pm because I don't like getting up to go use the toilet t.t

Night water is really good, it’s colder at night so that might be why. I freeze my water to drink by getting a stainless steel cup with a seal on lid you twist on. Then I put a lot of ice and cold fridge water and let it sit and get ice cold before I drink it.
