Hitting Bob with a net will not make him go away xD
Hitting him will just cause him to talk to you and you don't want that.
My best advice is to ignore him, and TT by 1 day. Eventually someone will ping and run up to you, it could be Bob.
If not, you'll be notified by Isabelle if someone is moving ( since you're going day by day)
