Lurkers are pretty great. It's when they don't post it becomes a problem. After I make space and people get the villagers to move, I'll finish my dream town. Basically, I have all of my dreamies reserved.

I do like Freya a lot, but her personality isn't great. I haven't played any of the earlier games, but apparently snooty villagers were a lot more rude, and I would like that more.
