Double-check your facts...

My normal axes only managed to take down 3-5 trees before breaking. My silver axe has already taken down 8 trees and it's still in one piece. So, in my experience, it does last longer (at least it does for me).
And see, this just sounds strange to me because I can normally cut down around 8 trees with a regular axe! O_O It does seem that I'm the exception to the rule, though, not the usual... but that just baffles me more! How in the heck is it determined when your axe is going to break? Is each and every axe different? Does it depend on your luck? o_O So many questions just formed in my mind... oh, WHY IS THIS SO CONFUSING??

I wasted 16 bucks on the dumbest guide ever. :/ got caught up in the excitement of preordering NL. I hate it, the coffee guide is so confusing! Can't read it at all.

I've had two silver axes
The first one I chopped down ONE tree and it got nicked/worn, after chopping down maybe another 4-5 trees it broke down.

With the second one, I was able to chop down A LOT of trees before it broke.

I bought both axes from other players so I don't know if it's random or if the first axe that was given to me had been used prior to it being sold to me.

Agree! The character section doesn't list a lot of the characters, and it lists other characters that don't even exist. It has Queenie down as an octopus even though she is an ostrich.... There is a lot of repetitive information like... the tiger 5B is the same as the tiger 6B. Then there are 16 different coffee options for octopuses even though there are only 3 octopus! >__< Some of the information is also completely wrong.

I'm in the process of making a better coffee guide right now, translating from Japanese sources. Should be done with it soon.
