Downgrading my 3DS

I have the latest 3DS version which I regret ever updating; can anyone point me in the direction of a video or an article that can help me downgrade my firmware so I can hack my town? I have a Mac :/

why would you upgrade firmware before knowing exactly what it could actually do in regards to any hacking/exploits?

that's like hacking 101 level common sense


also, google I guess? idk what sort of downgrade to you need exactly, but a quick search turned up a ton of results for me

You don't have to downgrade. There is an entry point with the latest update and it;s honestly even easier to hack now.

To install CFW (custom firmware), you will need to downgrade your 3DS, but Browserhax still works fine on the latest version, so if you can get into that you can install Menuhax and then ctr-httpwn so you can bypass future updates and still play online. Good luck!
