you're welcome!! just make sure it's the correct battery for your model, the 3DS and 3DS XL have different sized batteries. you can find replacement batteries on ebay for less than $10 please keep us updated!

yess! i think i’ll buy one on amazon. I hope this will solve the problem. The battery may be like 10 yo bc my 3ds is second handed so it would make sense.

personally, i do want to gently suggest buying from ebay sellers since am*z*n and their ceo are not things i want to support however ultimately i can't dictate what you do, i did see the ebay had better prices and ebay's return policy has been excellent, in my experience!

If the battery doesn't work, you could try aniko's suggestion of replacing the charging port! i'm afraid of soldering but i've dabbled in electronics repair with other devices and sometimes that is the solution.
