So, I emailed Nintendo asking about the Marquee and several other things. I also asked Nintendo about DLC for North America. I said "My next problem is downloadable content. I've gone to my friends town and he had some items I have never seen before. He said he had a friend in Japan and got them from him. I was wondering how he got them. He said he got them from downloadable content, which is only in Japan. I would really like downloadable content here in the U.S., and every other part of the world, so we could all expreince it. So, is downloadable content only in Japan? If it will be released in other parts of the world, when? Will it depend on which part of the world you live in? Sorry to sound so demanding, it's just a lot of my friends are wondering too."

They said "You also asked about downloadable content for Animal Crossing: City Folk. The North American version of the game does not have this, and we do not have any information on the items made available in other countries. If you have additional questions about downloadable content, you will need to call us."

So, could this mean no DLC in City Folk? (besides Japan)

There may be a chance we get Download-able contents but dont put your hopes up thats all i can say at the moment

ffs why would they not make it available for u.s. version but have it for japan version? bs -.-

Because Nintendo is in Japan and it is easier to send the DLCs to a small island not a whole huge country like the US of A
