I noticed Luna says if you don't update your dream code or have enough visitors to your dream code that your dream code will be erased from the registry...

Does anyone know how long that takes to happen?? I'd like to take a break from AC for a couple weeks/months and just let my town go & not *have* to get on every flipping hotdog day to make sure no villagers move ect. But I worked REALLY hard on my town & would be devastated if I let my town go to hell & then my DC expires in a month or something -__-

Yeah....like...can I just visit my own dream town with a 2nd DS once a month & be ok? This game has some ridiculous rules in place sometimes!

The rules make sense, you know. There's only so much space on Nintendo's servers. They can't, and shouldn't have to, for that matter, store the deleted town DCs.

Luna told me one day after updating dream that my dreamcode had changed, I didn't know that could happen.
Also the other day while visiting dream towns, I checked on my first town that I had deleted a few months before because I didn't like the place I had put my campsite because it prevented me putting a much needed bridge there , and lo and behold my old town was there! I just chose my old town name to visit. It was kind of sad seeing my old villagers there and they didn't remember me!

When they give you a new dream code, it doesn't delete your dream town. You can visit your own dream town if you still know your old dream address :D
