I have been on driftwood Island since the 25th of November 2020. I was given the freedom to alter the island however I wanted. And whilst it had a woodland, a park and a nightclub, I knew that this island was destined for better things.

After pondering what this island was meant to be, I realised that this island was meant to be a hospital. I had previously done house calls, delivering medicine to the sick as flu season had struck. I had learned the craft of making my own medicine. It was risky business and a couple of times I was stung by angry wasps. But I was doing it for the greater good.

Today I began work on making a helicopter landing pad or helipad for short. It took a while to make the custom designs needed to create it and I love the end result. All that was left was to pave the ground with the helipad design. I have a lot more work I have yet to do. But it’s a start.

I have continued work on the hospital. It’s still got so much work that needs doing to it. And I still had my duties of being the island doctor on top of construction.

I made a house call to Lobo. The old guy was dripping with sweat and was shivering. He had quite a bad cold. I gave him some medicine and he started looking much like his old self again. Well, apart from the fact that he was still in his pj’s. And that was my cue to leave.

But working non stop isn’t good for anyone. So I enjoyed some down time by inviting my best friend over. We had fun travelling from one place to the next on the subway. And we ran through the woods, hopped on stepping stones in the clearing until we reached the beach. My friend admired the different coloured roses. She met my good pal Erik. And wandered through the ice fortress.

It was good taking a break from my work. But tomorrow I will have to work twice as hard. That hospital won’t build itself.
