Ear Stretching (might make a poll)

Samme, I think they look awesome on other people, but just reading this thread makes my ears feel funny lol.

I feel like they wouldn't suit me anyway so I'm not too down about it. Certain people pull it off perfectly and it makes my heart happy.

When I was in high school, I was really into stretching my ears, but I only ever got as far as 4g on one ear. The other, I believe I got to around 10? I was a high school kid and trying to be cheap by reusing the taper one ear at a time. I planned to reach like 0g or 00g, but I grew out of liking them before I could and wanted to wear normal earrings again, so I took them out! Now my piercings never close.

All I can think of is that idiot on Vine who punched her ear with a hole punch and ****ed her ear up. Do people really do that? .-.

Ok, now that's horrific. You can go get your ears professionally punched, basically it's just a really large hollow tip to punch out a larger hole in your ear, a lot of the piercing/body mod shops do it.

Personally, I'm not a fan of how they look and wouldn't get them for myself. But hey, if want them or have them and like them, you do you!

(Though I've heard they tend to smell like dead elephant. Maybe I'm wrong, idk.)

It's true, people who don't take care of their ears smell AWFUL, there's also certain materials that encourage the smell, but as long as you clean and change out your plugs often it's really not bad at all.

I had them stretched to 5/8 of an inch and i loved sticking my thumbs through them haha. My mom gave me $200 to take them out o my fifteenth birthhday though. I tried restretching and tore really bad :L my ears never really closed up, but i don't mind them.
