Early 2013 release date confirmed for Europe. MEGA SADFACE

Well, this sucks hard. According to the Europe Nintendo Direct stream, the game is being delayed until early 2013 in Europe. As I say on my blog, this definitely suggests the same for north America however that is not confirmed for now.

Not sure if they delay applies to North America. But for Europe its looking pretty grim. If you take a look at the stats for Animal Crossing Wild World, North America got the game a few months before Europe did. North America got it in 2005, Europe got it in 2006. So anything can happen. Maybe they'll bump up the North American release date. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

We more or less expected this already, and the games looks great. and i'm happy to wait for it

Oh well, I'm disappointed but atleast I can really appreciate the game when I get it..

It was already all but confirmed to not be released in the West in 2012 with its absence from E3. No surprise here.
