Earning TBT (the real "egg old question" here)

So...how do people have so many TBT?

I've been in the Marketplace for a month, and even with trading, people can only make a few 100 here and there. Posting gets you such a small amount...People do giveaways of TBT, but rarely, if at all, so that's not worth counting on either.

I'm curious, because now with the eggs flying around, the high rollers are just tossing their TBT and collectibles back and forth to each other. Not whining, cuz good for them if they can do it. But the same few people seem to have most of the wealth around here! XD Aw, capitalism.

I'm still fairly new to the site, so I want to know if there's something I'm missing.

i get confused how people get 20k+ tbt bells unless they are rabidly buying tbt bells tbh
some people just do it the posting way and within a few days you can get a few hundred depending on how much you post (you'd have to post a LOT though)

you're definitely not missing anything, tbt bells aren't a big deal either so i wouldn't worry. just use some of the methods i listed ^ and maybe you'll get more tbt bells.

Karen, I appreciate that yours are through hard work, because I see you doing it in the Marketplace. But there are other people on the list of people with the most TBT's that I never see trading. Are they just old-timers that already did their trading/TBT-earning...or are they trading on the DL?

Those are the people I'm asking about. And some of them, yes you see them doing a lot of buying. But the rest, not so much. They don't seem to be trying so hard to get the TBT. Especially the ones I've seen doing the bigger TBT giveaways, they just casually giveaway 10,000. O.O

Yeah, some people used to buy a lot and trade a lot, now they don't anymore. I mean, everybody can retire and still be millionaire xD

Old timers. There are a few who had shops in the past or who diligently bought tbt when the exchange rate was very low.

in the shop, the little yellow house with a japanese letter in it. its incredibly rare, it sells for about 20,000 tbt yo

Great, I forgot there are people with actual skills. XD Ok, that makes sense.

I post too, but for some reason, I tend to be pulled towards the basement, where it doesn't count.

BTW, opening a TBT store is a good method for earning TBT if you have some extra items in your game lying around.

I had one, and it was kind of fun. But there are A LOT of stores. I've decided to take the leisurely route anyway, since I'm not a collector like others.

I'm really ok with what I have, but just curious as to how others go about getting TBT, since it is a feature of the site.
