Earning TBT (the real "egg old question" here)

I remember working fairly hard for my super gold mailbox... After that, I somehow racked up 4k without really paying attention. All I was doing was... Posting, I guess. And I think I had also had a little shop for some TBT, but that's about it. x: The only reason I need them is when new collectibles come out since I have almost all the ones I want right now, ahah. I'm not sure how someone can manage 20k TBT, even 10k seemed like a lot to me x) But yeah, shops/art threads/etc~

I'm probably one of the people that have a large amount that don't trade often that you're talking about.

Well, a large chunk of my bells came from posting and the rest I got from selling Flop a Pok?ball and Karen an Easter egg. LOL

Most of my bells are from my signature shop. Everything else is from my rare transactions in the marketplace, from posts, and interest from the ABD.

So...how do people have so many TBT?

I've been in the Marketplace for a month, and even with trading, people can only make a few 100 here and there. Posting gets you such a small amount...People do giveaways of TBT, but rarely, if at all, so that's not worth counting on either.

I'm curious, because now with the eggs flying around, the high rollers are just tossing their TBT and collectibles back and forth to each other. Not whining, cuz good for them if they can do it. But the same few people seem to have most of the wealth around here! XD Aw, capitalism.

I'm still fairly new to the site, so I want to know if there's something I'm missing.

The best way, (probably), is to get 100mil+ AC bells, get 10,000TBT out of 'em, keep them in the bank for investment, and make profits on the TBT marketplace when possible. And, of course, spend more animal crossing bells on TBT bells later on. For example, I made 15k+TBT from this Easter Egg hunt, and still have more profit to make (based on the assumption egg collectibles will go up).

I'm very new to this site, but I seem to have no trouble with gaining more and more TBT bells. Just gotta work hard, have a business mind and keep your eyes pealed for easy profits.

I have around 60k in my bank atm, i only bought around 3000-5000 of it with acnl bells? Most of my money came from selling collectibles such as the japanese letters and selling dreamies to people for tbt bells. I still have 5 out of the 6 japanese letters to sell and some easter eggs. I haven't been very active on the forums so now i've just been getting 60 tbt bells daily from the interest in the bank.

I just post a lot. I can make 150 TBT over a weekend just by frequently posting on the plethora of boards we have.

I've found the most popular method is to ask people for their bells after they post a leaving thread. (not)

Anyway, some people have been here a long time and/or post a lot. They also take advantage of the bank which, while not tons of interest, does add up. I still need like 8K to get everything I want in the shop... Then maybe I'll start using the bank but bleh.

I earned most of mine through my old pixel shop (now closed)... I don't really like buying stuff up to sell as it makes me feel bad. In general, all my extra collectibles are accidents. I'd just give them away if I didn't need some rare collectibles still :/

Oh so that's how you earn TBT bells. Do you get bells every day or when you start threads? I'm new here so I don't know.

You get them just from posting. Almost all the forums give you TBT Bells from posting.
