If I remember correctly, the only thing stopping Mother 3 from coming other was that it's too much of a pain to translate.

...We're talking about Earthbound, the SNES game. Which is already translated and ready to go.

Also, I seriously doubt it was "too much of a pain to translate". Any Fire Emblem game has more text than Mother 3, and yet those have seen consistent US releases since FE7.

Yes, I was there. The question concerned Mother 3, the latest in the Mother series, which was released for GBA a few years back in Japan. Zero asked if it was ever going to be localized for other territories. They gave him a vague answer... at this point, chances are slim to none that we'll ever see Mother 3 in the States. I mean, honestly; Nintendo releasing a GBA game out of the blue? Not happening.
