Eggs are often eaten during this time of year in the spring for various reasons and they are also symbolic for many people. Right now for a few reasons, some people this year decided to hold off on getting some eggs.

I thought I'd ask if you have made any Easter eggs this year?
Maybe even "eggs" that aren't actually eggs but are edible and egg shaped?
Have you eaten eggs recently for any reason?
What are some of your favorite ways to eat eggs or some of your favorite egg dishes?
(Cake doesn't count.. but egg salad or deviled eggs are egg dishes)

Feel free to share pics of your eggs or egg dishes if you like.

Inflation on eggs hasn't hit as hard here, so it hasn't changed my shopping habits. Hard-boiled and poached eggs are a regular part of my diet. Occasionally fried for breakfast on the weekend.

I haven't decorated any though.

I eat eggs often, usually in an egg sandwich. There are many people who raise chickens where I live, so I haven't had a problem getting eggs.

I hadn't dyed eggs since high school, but I was invited to do so this year. I decorated a few with stickers, but they didn't stick well, lol. It was fun; my favorite one I painted was a dragon crawling out of its egg.

I haven't painted eggs for Easter since I was a child; generally I don't do a whole lot to celebrate Easter, actually.

As far as eating eggs, they aren't a huge part of my diet, but I did actually include some egg in a stir fry I made for dinner today. There are also some dishes that feel incomplete without eggs: fried rice, pad see ew, oden... plus here and there, I do like a simple scrambled or fried egg, if I'm in the mood for breakfast foods.

I have never decorated an egg, but I have certainly eaten many. This morning I had scrambled eggs for breakfast, but I also love fried eggs, hard boiled, over-easy, eggy toast, stuffed eggs, egg foo yung, egg salad, omelettes, stir-fried in other dishes, as a salad topping, on top of sandwiches and burgers... I think the only egg dish that I tried that I didn't really like was shakshouka, but it wasn't the egg's fault that I didn't like it. In short, I love eggs!

The only eggs I’ll eat are scrambled. The other types are too egg-like for me.

I don't really decorate eggs outside of tbt events but I like to eat them sometimes. I had deviled eggs with dinner on Easter and I had some egg shaped candy too (Cadbury caramel eggs my beloved 🤤.) I like eggs scrambled, over easy, deviled, in an omelet, or in egg salad but I don't cook them too often. And sometimes I make a really lazy egg salad using scrambled eggs lol. Actually egg salad sounds pretty good for lunch right about now >->

I'm not sure if I've ever painted or dyed Easter eggs.

I only started eating eggs again a couple years ago, and only scrambled at that. I decided they were gross for a long time, but now I think scrambled eggs are ok. They're not my first choice, but I'm more willing to branch out now. I'm honestly a little nervous about runny eggs but I'm willing to try tamago kake gohan because I love soy sauce and rice.

I usually like to paint eggs for Easter but I didn't do so this year. Kind of felt like it but time kind of slipped past me and I just didn't get around to it. Also, just didn't really have any particular concepts in mind for what sort of designs to do.

As far as consuming them is concerned, while I was initially introduced to eating them scrambled, over the past number of years I've taken to eating them hard boiled.

I'm curious to maybe try soft boiled eggs sometime but I've always just opted for hard boiled out of an excess of caution, I'm curious to try poached eggs, and I'm also curious about putting an egg in ramen sometime since people say it enhances the experience. I don't eat ramen usually, but next time I do I might give it a shot.

I don’t do much for Easter except visit family, so I didn’t make any special Easter eggs this year. But I do eat eggs for breakfast pretty much every morning! Usually they’re scrambled in butter, with a pinch of salt. Sometimes I add steamed broccoli and cheese. And every once in a while I make them fried or over easy instead, just for a change. I love eggs. Never get tired of them.

no easter egg decorating this year, I really only do it if there’s a tbt event lol. I love eating eggs though. some of my favorites are steamed eggs and fried / over easy eggs with spam musubi. I recently had some deviled egg salad the other week. I honestly could never get tired of eggs, there’s just so many ways to eat it and all so delicious; except maybe balut, I’m too squeamish to even give that a try no matter how much I love eggs.
