Eggs not showing up??

I have already found two eggs and have clicked on them, but for some reason they aren't appearing on the side near my other collectibles or in my inventory. It also says in the shop that I have two eggs.

There are eggs as the currency and there are eggs as the collectibles. You have 2 eggs as currency which you must redeem in the shop to purchase an egg as a collectible. Some cost more than others. If you find one more egg then you will be able to purchase an Easter Egg in the shop. Hope that helps, it's kind of confusing with the names we use.
