Giveaway εїз--「100 Million Bells Giveaway」-- εїз WINNERS ANNOUNCED

I'll enter with an eastern chipmunk!

We feed them up at my cottage and they're so cute! ^^ They are very defensive about their territory and will chase other chipmunks away. They LOVE peanuts. I bet they have at least 6kgs of peanuts under the ground in their homes.

Favorite Animal: Rockhopper Penguin
Fact: has no natural land-based predators

Hi! I'd like to enter - my favorite animal would be a snow leopard. c:

Snow leopards - unlike other big cats - can't roar. They also hunt animals three times their size for prey.

Thylacines (tasmanian tigers) are believed to be exinct right now :( but I like them because they look like small dingo tigers.

I'll choose the emu as my animal :)

Here's a fact: Emus can run up to 30 MPH, and they can also swim and cross rivers during their migration. However, they prefer to just play in the water. On hot days, they'll sometimes just roll on their backs in a river or stream and kick their legs in the air for fun. They're also only found naturally in Australia, and they're the second largest bird after the ostrich.

Thanks!

Hummingbird. I love them, I breed them in my garden. Well not exactly breed them as much as putting those jars with nectar for them and take care that their nests are not totally destroyed by gardeners and animals.

Fun fact
Hummingbirds lay the smallest eggs of all birds. They measure less than 1/2 inch long but may represent as much as 10 percent of the mother?s weight at the time the eggs are laid.

I really have no favorites in the kingdom Animalia as there are just so many, however currently I really like the microscopic sort!! So my choice? Probably a rotifer! Rotifers are microscopic to near-microscopic animals that typically live in freshwater. They are multicellular despite their size, and are important as they contribute to nutrient recycling in water ecosystems.
Odd choice, I know, but not all animals are cute! (Also I totally found one the other day while looking for tardigrades and it was pretty dang neat, so I'm a little biased.)

If I had to pick a favorite animal...a swan, perhaps? Versatile & beautiful. If only dragons were real...& no, I'm not a real fan of komodos, either.

The Queen of England owns all of the mute swans in England and Wales & it's a criminal offense in those regions to harm swans.
So special.

ThanQ ^^

I choose the Japanese marten. I like them because they are so small weighing only 2-3 pounds. They usually only live in Japan and sometimes korea. :) This is an interesting animal but not my favorite, my favorite is a regular old black house cat :)

Sea otters c:

Otters are just so adorable and are my favorite animals~ My user name Lutrea actually means an otter in Latin~

A fact about otters is that they hold hands with each other while they sleep so they don't float away. <3_<3

I already chose snow leopards in post number 25.

Thank you for hosting this!

I love the species Lybia edmondsoni, often called boxer crabs or pom-pom crabs.
Fun fact: Boxer crabs carry around sea anemones in each of their claws as a means of self-defense against predators. The anemones sting the boxer crab's predators in exchange for food.

I think I added most of you to the list. Had to exclude some because of the rules.
Remember to pick an animal no one else has chosen and also say a fact about them.

Dodo birds! They're extinct, but that wasn't in the rules :p

My favourite animal (excuse my Canadian spelling), however, is a penguin. They're just awesome. Want a fact? Unlike most sea mammals, penguins actually survive because their feathers trap a layer of warm air next to the skin that serves as insulation!

EDIT: Here's a picture. I just wanted to add one.

Dwarf hamsters

Hamsters teeth grow at a very fast rate. They need a steady diet of things to chew on (like sticks) or their teeth will grow indefinately. This can even cause death...
