Love this. ♥

"Just because you carry a burden with you does not mean you are a burden"

“If you feel yourself hitting up against your limit remember for what cause you clench your fists... remember why you started down this path, and let that memory carry you beyond your limit.”

"It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."

I like these:

"What is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always right."

"The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance; it is the illusion of knowledge."

"Everyone smiles in the same language"

"I'ts not about perfect, it's about effort. Abd when you bring that effort every single day, that's where transformation happens. That's how change occurs."

?What I am really saying is that you don?t need to do anything, because if you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomenon of nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that, and there is nothing wrong with you at all.?

? Alan Watts

Lord of the rings the two towers

Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.

Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?

Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for.

"The trick to surviving your own death is to simply not die in the first place!"
