I had this idea that I really feel Nintendo should implement. So like you know how there's the chess board furniture item, pinball machines, telescope, tourist telescope, etc? Imagine this...
When you tap on the chess board, you can actually play chess. Imagine being able to play chess with your villagers and other players who visit your island through the furniture piece. That's taking something simple, and evolving it and making it better.
Same thing with the pinball machine. Let us actually PLAY pinball!
With the telescope, imagine looking into the skies all around your Island. Sometimes, quirky or interesting things can be seen, like a dodo plane that writes stuff in the sky, or Pelly from PG flying with her mail bag. How much more of a difference would this make? Let's be real.
And tourist telescope. Imagine looking out into sea and actually getting to SEE Gulliver/Gullivarrr fall off their boat! HAA. THAT'D BE PRICEEELESSS.
And the list continues. I really feel like they should be more expansive with items. I know it's more work but it'll only make a great game that much more legendary and I feel it would be worth it for many more reasons than one. Thoughts?
Also imagine being able to open your refrigerator and then the screen switches to the inside of your refrigerator where you can have all your food and drinks at. You can organize them within accordingly just like real life. This is not only an aesthetic, but also very useful for when you want to be able to cook and use your food items but don't really have the space because you're using it for other things like lamps, gyroids, 1 up mushrooms, etc
And imagine being able to actually play instruments using like the d-pad etc for the different notes. That would be so beyond amazing.
