Erase visitor messages completely?

So, I am wanting to erase all of the visitor messages on my profile completely so that I can start my new AC:NL experience clean (on the forums).

Unfortunately, all I can manage to do is erase the message content, while still leaving behind this:

Is there any way I can completely remove these messages from my profile?

Sorry. There really isn't a way, unless if you're a moderator, but other people will not see the deleted messages or any evidence that they posted the messages.
