Erik asked to move out today

Erik is one of my favorite villagers in the town; I convinced him to stay but I'm terrified someone will leave without warning (unless it's Lionel, then I'll have a celebration party.)

Also, any tips on getting photos of a villager? I've been talking to Gala all the time, I send her letters and 75% of the time I attach presents; I also actually do the quests she asks me to do. Anything else I can try?

As long as you do not tt, villagers will always ask to leave.

Some people say if you have a strong friendship with someone they will ask to move out because they feel like they have been satisfied with your friendship progress and sometimes when they move out they will send you a letter the day after with their photo attached. I haven't had this happen because most of the villagers that moved out I didn't have a strong bond with.

Other times if they ask you for a huge favor like maybe getting signatures from another town, a super rare bug or fish, or a perfect non-native fruit they may reward you with their photo.

Send them letters with presents that they will like..Things that are their favorite type/color. Today, Portia asked me for a cherry and I brought her a perfect cherry..She was so happy she gave me her pic! I was sooooo happy!

That sucks, Erik asked to move out a while back too D:

Make sure you always give them what they ask for, if they ask for a fruit, give them a perfect fruit, if they ask for a type of bug/fish give them the rarest one, etc. that will make the process a lot faster

What i do to try and get photos is that a neighbor might ask for any type of fruit, and try to get them a rare non native perfect fruit, or just a perfect fruit, that makes them very happy <3

hmm I don't have perfect fruit anywhere because I've only seen 2 perfect fruit in my month+ of playing, and I was stupid and sold them :C

Talk to them 9 or 10 times a day for about 3 weeks. Then, don't talk to them for 15 minutes, then go near them, and they'll give you a task that'll reward you with their picture.

Even if he does move out, he'll give you his picture if he's been in town long enough, but I don't think you'd want that.
