My cat, Saffron, is my best friend. I got her about 8 years ago when I first moved to the Midwest and was going through a lot of tough changes in my life. I had been checking a nearby shelter for a couple of weeks, but when I saw Saffron, I literally felt it in my soul that she was the perfect one for me. She and I instantly connected, and I took her home immediately. She's been by my side through thick and thin, moving to many different apartments and back across the country a couple of years ago. Whether I'm sleeping on the couch, floor, or bed, she's always cuddled up with me and making sure to protect me. I couldn't have asked for a better companion.
When I was a little kid, I went to Muir Woods in California and saw lots of redwood trees, including one with a little nook at the bottom you could sit in.
They have these huge cakes at Costco that are really good. They have cheesecake and mousse layered through them, and it's amazing. My best friend in high school dropped one off at my door on my birthday, and I ate like half of one (they're meant for parties). It was so good. I have Celiac though and don't eat anything like that anymore. But it's a really nice memory for me even if I felt awful after. lol
I once took a group of kids to the zoo, and one of them pushed the other into the hippo tank, and that child was eaten by the hippos. The parents then proceeded to sue me.
I don't know...since you were all mentioning food, I guess I would have to say pbnj sandwiches. I've been eating them almost my whole life for breakfast. I change it up sometimes, but mostly it is that. So I like to eat them in the morning and it's also nice to eat one at night sometimes as a snack. Sometimes I like to make one and then let it get a bit frozen in the freezer as a cold nighttime snack. It's a nice comfort food I suppose.
