Hi eveyone,

Currently playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and for the past three days I've been trying to get Fang to move to my island via amiibo at the campsite. I've only had 9 villagers on my island so far, but today Admiral decided to move in. On the same day, Fang finally accepted my invitation, but rather than giving me the prompt to negotiate with one of the villagers to move out so he could move in, he just accepts that he can't move in. I assumed this may because Admiral was in the process of moving in? So I jumped a day ahead but he's giving me the same prompt. Is this something that others have encountered?

Is "today" the day that Admiral is in boxes and setting up his house? I tried to move the house of a new villager moving in, but it wouldn't let me until they finished unpacking.

Yeah today is him moving in w/ his boxes. Its just that I jumped a day ahead (so April 4th) and Fang still says he can't move in, even though Admiral has finished unpacking and is officially a resident :/

That's weird. Have you talked to him more? It might take awhile to pop up, I have not kicked anyone out with amiibo so that could be my only guess. :(

I had the same situation with Fang. You need to see Tom Nook and discuss Infrastructure to get the plot. Lay it where you want him and he'll go talk with the bureaucrats again and all will be set up for his move-in. EDIT: Oops! This applies only if there's not another squatter currently taking up resources.

Haha it did work! Thank you for this. All I needed to do was set up a plot of land!

:ROFLMAO:
