Favorite Christmas movies!!

The Shining, A Christmas Story, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (original), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Original), Gremlins, Frosty the Snowman (original), The Home Alone movies... Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (loved this as a kid).

I also remember liking various versions of A Christmas Carol. I think it was a black and white version from the 40s or 50s they use to air early in the morning during the 90s that I liked lol Ohh yea its called Scrooge from 1951. The George C Scott movie was also pretty trippy.

Nice thread idea!

Mine would have to be The Greatest Story Ever Told (not really a Christmas movie, but a tradition) and White Christmas.

The Polar Express, all of the The Santa Clause movies, Miracle on 34th Street, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, A Nightmare Before Christmas.

Star Wars Holiday Special, not because it's a good movie but because it's one of those things that's fun to watch as a joke.

I really love "a christmas carol" it's a classic! There are so many versions and I like most of them even the mickey mouse one. And also the.mickeys one upon a christmas. I used to watch it with my sister a lot when I was a kid. It's really nostalgic for me ^^ Besides that is three wishes for Cinderella a timeless christmas classic and everyone here knows it along with the last unicorn. Even if it's not a christmas movie it's still on screen every christmas.

In terms of TV shows it has to be "the secret world of santa claus". Everybody knows the show and it starts to air every november to december :)

I really enjoy Die Hard personally. There's something about Hans Gruber falling from Nakatomi Plaza that really gets me in a festive mood.

lmao mood. but yeah i really like die hard as well for an xmas movie since i don't really watch that kind a lot

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, one of my favorite Christmas related movies which I watch every year whenever they show it on TV.

The Rankin Bass specials, How the Grinch stole Christmas (The old animated one) and the Hallmark Christmas movies (I know they're cheesy, But I love them).

Also that movie called 'Elf'.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the supreme Christmas movie and I do not accept criticism on my posts.

Polar Express is pretty good :) Same with Arthur Christmas~

I also love an anime film called Tokyo Godfathers that's set at Christmas/new year.

- how the grinch stole christmas (1966 version)
- frosty the snowman
- rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
- santa clause 1, 2 and 3
- polar express
- nightmare before christmas (is it a halloween movie? christmas movie? who knows)

1. Elf
2. Polar Express
3. Four Christmases
4. those cheesy Hallmark / Lifetime christmas movies

the first thing that came to mind was The Princess Switch? though i think i might just like it because Vanessa Hudgens is in it :))))

i'm uh not sure i vividly recall a lot of christmas movies from when i was a kid but i feel like maybe i liked the grinch? i remember watching polar express but not having strong feelings about it. the more i try to think of a christmas movie, the more my brain reminds me of the Easter Beagle Snoopy special so uh. i guess the princess switch is my answer for now?

OH unless Barbie Princess and the Nutcracker counts as a christmas movie? in which case that's my actual favourite like,, i rewatched that movie so many times as a kid
