Favorite part about winter season?

It's actually my first time experiencing winter in animal crossing new horizons. I was on a personal hiatus around winter time last year due to well...personal reasons so this will be the first time I will be participating in the winter season, especially on my new island. So far, I have been enjoying the snow and the way my breath appear as I run around. Plus, making snow people is always a delight in animal crossing!

I just love how crisp and clean the ground looks when it’s covered in snow. To me it’s like looking at a blank slate that can be inspiring when it comes to decorating. Also I first started playing in January so seeing the snow brings back memories of my first days of gameplay.

I enjoy the change of scenery. The bright white is visually different from the rest of the year.

I also enjoy dressing up as a Christmas Tree.

I like how the pathing and sand changes color, they get a sort of pastel look and it looks good with all the snow. I like how the bamboo tress turn from green to a crystal blue also!

for now, i do love having the snow on the ground and the way it makes everything look! even though i know by the end of the season it'll also be my least favourite thing about winter :')

It delights me how vibrant the fruit on trees are during winter. It's like a mini rainbow when I walk around my forests.

Snow people are also fun if you don't stress over them. I like making all of mine directly next to each other like they're part of some sort of weird zombie uprising.

The jingle bells in the music are one of the best parts about winter! Not to mention just chilling out and watching the snow fall- it's super soothing.

I don’t really like it. Snow looks strange on a tropical island, and I’m not particularly a fan of it in real life either. My island is always in the summer months. I never liked it in any of the previous games either.

I honestly personally love all the snow covered items on the island. Plus all the different little winter decorations everywhere is a nice touch!

I can't pick a single favorite part about winter on Animal Crossing. There's so much to enjoy about it. But I do decorate my island every month, changing flower arrangements and such so that it matches the current season. Now that there's snow, I can put out the frozen decorations again! Of course I have to make more, because I don't have anywhere near enough for the entire island... I must have only kept a few of each thing and made it so I had to make more for some reason. To give myself something to do, I know, but still... haha.

But I will say that I absolutely love the music when it's snowing. I just love the bells, it's so festive! Some people say that that actually makes it terrible to deal with, because it does it after Christmas too, but I think that's something that's so great! We can capture a little bit of the spirit while it's cold out, and I know for me, I could use the extra cheer during the bitter cold months of winter in real life.

Now if only I could make it so my flowers didn't go crazy every time it snowed... xD

I like it when it snows. But it can be boring and dull after New Year.
I enjoy making snowboys. But irritating when you don't get it perfectly.
I love Toy Day. But I dislike how they changed the mechanics.

Winter is a love and hate relationship with me.

I love the snow crunch sound, and the way it looks when the sun is rising and setting, and I forget if it does it with this game, but in new leaf the music would get all twinkly and it was magical

I like the music change and toy day is pretty cool. I like seeing when it snows. However after December is over with, I am over the snow. Good news is that the pink camellia flowers blossom when January comes so there is that.
I just feel like winter is just, long. But this time, I can warm up at Brewster's

I love the snow... it looks so fluffy and clean. I need to clear out more flowers so I can have more white areas.

I love Christmas lights on the cedar trees and RS, too.
