Hi everyone!
I'm conducting a poll for a media project. In addition to answering the poll question about what platform is your favorite, I'd also like some input on why you chose what you did. For example, I like 3DS/DS versions the best because they are the most portable and the controls are more natural for me than the Wii or Gamecube.

I chose 3DS. I only like handhelds, to be honest, since they're portable. I hate the Wii soooo much. We bought one a year or so after it came out and I used it a few times. I have no idea where it is now; I guess someone finally took it away. I also have a DS Lite, but it's so small and uncomfortable to play. I don't really need it anymore since I have a 2DS and two 3DS XLs. I'll probably get rid of the DS Lite soon. I started playing Wild World again last night and I'm thrilled I can play it on my 3DS XL. :D

While New Leaf is my favorite Animal Crossing game, I prefer to play these games on a console instead of a handheld. I chose the Gamecube because that one is my second favorite Animal Crossing game. Also because I just generally love the Gamecube, its library of games, and its controller.

My favourite is the 3DS, even though I really like the Gamecube's controller. The 3DS is portable, which is cool because I can play it in the car, on a bus, at home, at school... well you get the idea.

I prefer portable Animal Crossing. The problem with Wild World is that IMO it has the least to do out of all the Animal Crossing games. Pretty much the only thing I miss from it is the constellations. So 3DS it is, just because New Leaf is a HUGE improvement.

Any handheld device. I like when games are on the big screen, but hate that I can't take them elsewhere. New Leaf was and always will be perfect!

Since I mostly away from home, handheld is my first choice. on the other note, ACNL is by far my favorite amongst AC series, it makes 3ds also by far my #1 choice for gaming platform. At first, I even bought the 3ds just because of the ACNL so, yeah XD

The 3DS is so portable. I can take my town and play anywhere - waiting rooms, sitting in the car waiting for someone, going over to other people's houses and I can play it anywhere.

I really enjoyed Animal Crossing on Game Cube but I rarely played during the holidays because I was out of town with relatives.

I am looking forward to visiting family AND enjoy Toy Day with my 3DS this year. Good luck on your project! Sounds interesting.

I love AC on the 3ds, HOWEVER... In the next game, I hope they bring back RANDOM furniture being in the floating presents. This is something that really bothered me, how easy it is to get the balloon furniture and how after you get all the pieces you just ignore the balloons (unless your trying for the badge). I never ignored a balloon in previous games!

Since the 3DS is portable, I can bring it anywhere with me-- so, I'd say Animal Crossing on the 3DS is best for me x'DD

3DS, I just prefer the handhelds and I find it easier to play on!

I voted for the 3DS because of the portability, that`s really a plus. I don`t need to turn on a TV and can carry the 3DS anywhere with me, same with DS of course, but it?s outdated now.

I love the portability of the DS and 3DS. I voted for the 3DS as that's what I have now but my DS went with me everywhere.

I have tried all four AC games, and I definitely like the 3DS best. Wii and Gamecube I couldn't get into because unless I can hold my town in my hand and take it with me everywhere, I just don't get attached to it. DS I liked but 3DS is just a better version of the DS one so yeah. XD

3DS, it's just really easy and simple and doesn't take much motivation to turn on from there.

Handhelds definitely, voted 3DS because New Leaf is so much better than Wild World.
