Favorite things about TBT

So I have been thinking about things I love about this site, on the community side, and the functionality side.

I honestly really, really love the subscribed threads feature. It's so nice just to have one tab open to refresh to see which of my favorite threads got new posts.

I also do love the size of the community. After being on Gaia for 10 years, it was a nice change to be active in a forum where you actually recognize users from forum to forum, thread to thread. I really enjoy recognizing people across the forum. It's something I've never experienced elsewhere online.

and actually all my friends in general. I like what you said about recognizing everyone. It's nice to be able to chat with a lot of familiars off site and get to know them all a little better. I've found people with whom I share similar interests in when I wasn't even trying.
The TBT Choice Awards were nice, it proves that we are all kinda close enough to pick and choose out of everyone for their specific nitch.

Trying to leave tbt is hard because the people here are actually more real than you'd think. Sure some people are like bad apples but its through all the salt and debates that you can actually tell who you wanna be friends with, and who will make your experiences here more memorable and enjoyable.

I like the community here. I know not everyone is a fresh apple but hey, that's like everywhere. The vast majority of the people on here are super kind and generous. It literally amazes me.

It looks really nice compared to all of boards I have seen, even professional company ones. They're all white-and-blue, or one colour slowly changing shades... this site actually has really nice aesthetic.

I would've mentioned that, but I don't think I've ever bought art on here haha. I buy most of my art on gaia or other sites.

The collectibles here are my life. I am also a huge fan of brewsters cafe.
I really enjoy a lot of the people here and I plan to grow with this community for many years to come.

I joined TBT for the dolls, and for the most part I haven't been disappointed! They've got Timmy dolls. They've got Voodoo Dolls. They've got Jingle Dolls. They've even got Kapp'n Dolls (my personal 2d favorite)! This place just needs a few more 2016 Weird Dolls, and then it would be the best forum on the interwebz!!
