Favorite villager of all time and why.

I'm sure this has been done a thousands times, but I'm relatively new to the forums and am curious.

Mine has to be Moe, for the simple reason that he was my first villager and when I first started Animal Crossing it was a couple days before my birthday and when my birthday came around Moe was the villager that got me and took me to my b-day party. So yeah, Moe will always have a spot on my island.

Bruce.
I don’t know when it happened, I don’t know how it happened, but one day I seemed to have woken up and chosen Bruce. I would die for him, he’s absolutely my number one!

I’m not a big fan of the deer villagers, but cranky and lazy are my favorite personality types. Maybe this has something to do with it? I also love the “punk” aesthetic he seems to go toward with his clothing and house. But there’s something about Bruce that when I first laid my eyes on him, I decided he was my villager :>

Dobie!

Huge comfort character for me. He's made me happy on bad days. His design is amazing, and his room is awesome. He's like a loving dad, I love it ❤

Tybalt was my first villager friend in the original animal crossing so he's always been special to me but they removed him in later games. Gruff was hilariously rude in the first animal crossing so I live him too. But, Cranston is my favorite this time around, I've always had a love for the lazy villagers.

It was love at first sight.

He was my first camper back in New Leaf and since I wasn't online at the time I had never even seen a deer villager before.

I looked for him for so long after getting New Horizons but it was the cutest surprise when he showed up randomly at my campsite one day. So, yeah, I'm attached to the little guy

Fauna has been my favourite villager since she was introduced to the series, I like the friendliness of the normal personality and think she’s really cute. Also my favourite overall gaming character is Eevee and they remind me a bit of each other with their big ears and eyes.

When I played Wild World my favourite villager was Peanut who I really loved in the game. Wolfgang has always been a close second for me and is the only villager I’ve had in every AC game.

Has to be tybalt.
He just looks super cool and his name is one that has been a big one in my media.
Tybalt is the best character in romeo and juliet. In the musical bare, the best character Matt plays Tybalt in their version of romeo and juliet.
And in the sims 2, my favourite sim to play as is tybalt. Of course based on romeo and juliet.

The moment I saw him I knew I had to have him. Got him nearly a year ago and have had zero regrets.

I even got a plush made of him.

My favourite villager is Drago. I finally found while island hopping several days ago and I couldn't be happier. He was my first lazy in New Leaf and he is a dragon. What more can I say? I love dragons. I love reptiles too. I'm also a sucker for designs that have cultural inspiration behind them. I love that he is also based on the oriental dragon. The oriental dragon is believed to bring luck so Drago is almost like my good luck charm lol

She moved in my Animal Crossing town 20 years ago on GameCube, and she went missing from the AC roster for 15 years until Nintendo brought her back in the Welcome amiibo update for New Leaf. I made sure I had her move in on my New Horizons island.

It's tough but if I had to pick just one then Cyrano. I only started playing AC with New Leaf and he moved in randomly. He just seemed to have so much personality plus his shade of blue is really eye-catching.

My favourite villager is sweet, sweet Agnes!

I hadn't heard of Agnes prior to ACNH, but she was one of my two starter villagers, and she grew on me really quickly! I love her so much. She is kind, funny, and sometimes she's blunt. And, she'll always give me medicine if those darn wasps get me.

She also has the play hobby, which is just the cutest. My gosh, so cute.

I hate this question as it is like picking a favourite child I have to say Whitney and Julian. I have had them both in all games over the last 14 years. I can’t imagine playing a game without them

It was Tom until ACNH ruined him for me. Their rooms are one of the only things that set them apart from the other identically coded villagers

I kinda hate saying my new favorite might be Raymond because of the hype but I'm 31 and I work that drab cubical office life in a hipster area and I relate to his existence haha. Also his birthday is 10/1 which is one of the hardest work deadlines in my field which also amused me.

Just take one look at my profile pic and the answer is clear~

Annalisa the anteater. It's funny because she did not start out as my favorite villager of all time. Because WW was my first AC game, that honor belonged to Jeremiah the lazy blue frog. While I still love him, NL then introduced me to Henry, another super cute frog (plus he's smug so of course he was an instant favorite!) who I adore so much, and when I decided to reset my town, one of my starting villagers was none other than Annalisa. The anteater villagers are some of my favorite species in the AC series, and her theme is Zen, which is one of my favorite aesthetics, so naturally my interest was piqued.

The more I was around her and interacted with her, the more and more she grew on me~ and when she moved away randomly one day, I was pretty bummed...that is, until I checked my mail. She had left me one last gift: her framed photo, which I immediately displayed in my living room, so that whenever I look at it I can be reminded of her. It was a precious memento of our friendship.

You can imagine my joy starting up my new island in NH and going island hopping for the very first time, I kid you not she was the first villager I stumbled upon. It was no sheer coincidence we would be reunited after all these years. It was a friendship that lasted throughout the years... She never forgot about me just as I never forgot about her we were meant to find each other again, I firmly believe that. And ever since then she has continued to be a resident of the island of Magicant, and will forever remain so.

I would initially say Rolf, but Sterling has truly become my all-time favorite. I first had him in New Leaf and really liked his design and concept. I also find him cool. My attachment to him just grew from there. Best eagle. Best jock.

Back in WW I saw her in a friend's town and fell in love with her big, sparkly eyes. I kept talking to her so that she's move into my town and nearly 15 years later she's still there.

In NL she moved to my town and is still there, and in NH she was a campsite visitor early on so I have her there too!

I also bought some merch of her from the Animal Crossing movie

I would have to say Mac is my favorite. I love his island aesthetic back in the older games when he would wear a red aloha tee. I love sports, so I feel like I can relate to him due to his jock personality. I’m a big fan of bulldogs, as well.

Julian, for sure. My first smug and first villager photo in New Leaf, and also my first villager photo in New Horizons. When I was growing up, Lisa Frank stickers were my jam, so how could I say no to a sparkly blue unicorn?
