Favorite villager of all time and why.

My favourite villager is Cookie because she’s a cute pink dog

My favorite is Punchy, though Rudy has been getting really close to sharing the spot. I’ll only talk about Punchy since you’re asking for only one.

I have played a little bit of the GC AC game and Wildworld, but unfortunately, I don’t remember what villagers I had except for Dotty (very vaguely) and I don’t remember how I felt about her. I am pretty sure I thought she was cute. So the villagers I remember and grew fond of were from NL and NH.

Punchy was one of my starters in NL and I think I liked him pretty much right away; I love cats so much! He had the cutest expressions back in NL and I loved how he would talk about food and comment on the food I used as decoration (I miss that so much). He also looks a lot like a friend’s cat, but that came later after I became friends with him. I always loved how he looks like a smug more than a lazy . A lot of my fondness for him if not all came from my time playing NL; I don’t think I “bonded” as much with my villagers in NH since I have been taking so many breaks from the game.

If I had to pick one, it'd probably be Punchy. He's just the cutest lazy cat villager, and reminds me of a cat I used to have.

If I had to pick just one, it would probably be Marshal. I don't have a great story to tell about him, I didn't know him until I bought the game, but I find him so cute that it couldn't be otherwise.
I also have good memories with Wolfgang, but in terms of design, I prefer Fang.

Flurry! As soon as she appeared in my first New Leaf town I became maternal towards her haha

Kiki. Always and forever. I’ve had several black cats throughout my life (including one now), and the hold an extra special place in my heart. Kiki always has reminded me of them. And she’s a super nice normie to boot.

Ed is my favourite villager of all time. Ed became my neighbour in New Leaf on day one of me making a town. We are only a few days apart for our birthdays so we always celebrate them and give each other gifts. Ed would always send me mail of the dreams he had and poetry he wrote for me He is the only villager that I went out looking to buy his amiibo card cause I wanted him the most on my island.​

It’s definitely Tabby, I just adore her and think she’s the cutest thing ever. I want to fill my house with plushies of her like a crazy person (my husband objects to this urge for some reason)

Rodney is now an unexpectedly close second. I knew I’d like him, I love all the hamsters, but his adorable little face and general overall cuteness just won me over.

I don't think anyone expects this from me when I say who my favourite villager is (because I am the kind of person who likes super girly, cutesy villagers)... But my all time favourite man is Alfonso. That chonky alligator brings me so much joy and I don't really have an explanation for it. I just fell in love with him in New Leaf. He's a sweet, lazy funny little gemini man and I love him. I don't see a lot of love for Alfonso in this community, but that's OK because I do it all anyways

Mitzi. Cute Normal type who's a bit socially awkward and into reading books like myself. Also she's based on Siamese cats, which I've loved since reading The Cat Who mystery books as a kid. Definitely top-tier kitty to me. Will always have a place on Pookytopia.
