Favorite villager of each species?

I?m getting tired of ?Who?s your favorite villager? and ?Which is your favorite species? threads so I?ll combine the two since I haven?t seen any threads like this one.

Very simple. State your favorite villager/most liked for each species. If you don?t like a certain species, at least pick one that caught your interest, or don?t mention it.

For more fun, give details on why you like them. It can be any reason.

Alligators
Honestly, I?m going for the very popular of the bunch- Gayle. No shame. She has the most tolerable design imo, but I?m not saying it?s the best.

Anteaters
This one is a tie between Annalisa and Olaf, but I show my likeness to Olaf more often due to how much personality his appearance shows. In a way, Annalisa reminds me of Muffy- another favorite villager of mine.

Bears
Beardo. I?m not joking. This villager came straight out of a hoity-toity cartoon show about the straight and snooty ballerino. His design is very unique and I can see why others like him.

Birds
I?ve put up a little bit of lore on Jacques, even gave him a nice little lumber-bar in hhd. His lore follows: Married to Robin and is the boss of both lumberjack companies of the two towns. It?s a very simple slice of lore but I can see how it would be implemented on him.

Bulls
The most tolerable is Rodeo. In my opinion, towns with Rodeo and Roscoe are good combinations. As long as you have ?emo-colored? villagers around, Rodeo would blend in perfectly.

Cats
It?s a huge tie between Lolly, Olivia and Purrl here, but I have chosen Lolly to stay in my town for now. Why do I like these three? Because of my lore. Lolly is this yandere cat who shows her cuteness at open but has a secret kitchen used to... you know what. Olivia is a business woman who is also part of the mafia; she gives me the Princess Carolyn kind of vibe. Then there?s Purrl who I subliminally ship with Wolfgang for strange reasons. As you read through this post, you will notice that many of my favorite villagers have lore- which is an appealing reason why I like them.

Chickens
I rarely see anyone have Broffina in her town and that kind of makes me sad. Her design is really good-looking out of the rest of the chickens. If only someone could hear her speak with Sylvia from WOY?s voice like me.

Cows
Naomi reminds me of Edna Mode so much it hurts but in a good way. I can just hear her say ?NO CAPES? to Mira.

Cubs
Hooo boy. This species have villagers that confuses my other favorite villager names, but for now I want to look at Cherry- I mean Cheri. I see her as an improvement against Tammi- I mean Tammy?s design and she looks tolerable enough to stay in my town.

Deer
An obvious choice once again- Diana! Although a majority prefer Fauna, I?m one of those people who enjoy Diana more. I don?t know what?s the gig on why I like her. I just find her my favorite of all deer villagers.

Dogs
I liked Cherry even before I watched Vinny play Animal Crossing. I think her design is really neat. After watching Vinny?s streams, I was charmed by her even more.

Ducks
SCOOT!!!!!!!

Eagles
Celia has the most tolerable design in my opinion. The others are a little too flashy.

Elephants
Well I ain?t too afraid to admit that I love Tia from the rest. Another popular villager but I never like any villagers because of their popularity. Her representing as a teapot is just really adorable.

Frogs
Lily is very tolerable. Others, especially the male frogs... not so...

Goats
Why does Kidd looks like he has a secret up his sleeves... Does he own a Persona? Is he secretly your biggest rival in the Pokemon league? Can he define the laws of gravity? Kidd is so mysterious-looking and so laid-back that it makes me jealous!

Gorillas
Everyone overlooks this most hated villager species... and everyone overlooks Violet, the only tolerable gorilla. NO I?M SERIOUS. I?m kind of upset that nobody has Violet in their town. Feels bad man.

Hamsters
Soleil is so pretty. *o*

Hippos
Another hated villager species but one overlooked villager once again- Bertha.

Horses
Savannah is so underrated. Everyone looks at Julian too much for being a unicorn, and here Savannah isnt getting the attention she deserves for being a zebra.

Kangaroos
Walt is very tolerable, despite being a male Kangaroo.

Koalas
It?s inevitable. It?s clear. It?s... It?s... Eugene!!! The coolest koala on the block.

Lions
I have an unending and unnecessary liking to Leopold.

Monkeys
I don?t need to say her name. In fact, her name is too good to be said. She?s the most perfect villager.

Mice
I can?t believe it. I overlooked Bettina. SHE HAS FLIPPING PANSEAR COLORS AND LOOKS LIKE A PANSEAR. I?M DYING.

Octopi
I?m going to Mcdonalds you need anything?
Zucker: Borger

Ostriches
Phoebe has a really good design. I?m a woman of warm color tastes you know.

Penguins
Uff. Sprinkles... baby... why are u so cute my jabroni...

Pigs
Agnes has a really unique design. She isn?t pink or brownish like most of the pig villagers.

Rabbits
I have a favorite Pixiv artist who LOVES O?hare(and as bonus, loves the elemental monkeys from pokemon lol), so I wanted to know why. I had him in my town and despite being a jerk to my map layout, he really is a really chill villager. Just wished he placed his house somewhere better so I can keep him forever.

Rhinos
I?m sorry to people annoyed by my popular choices by now(but my argument is that its the species that makes them popular)...but I like Merengue...

Sheep
I had Muffy back when Pinwheel was still sprouting. I warmed up to her and her personality as a whole and I kinda miss her.

Squirrels
My lore idea of Marshal makes me like him more in a unique kind of way. Anti-social but is a genius. What?s more is that I gave Marshal to my boyfriend to spread his coolness.

Tigers
Bianca. Best tiger.

Wolves
Do I really need to mention it? Fine. CHIEFIE BOI!!! <3 Chief reminds me of my boyfriend so much that I gave him to my boyfriend himself. It was a smart decision because he ended up liking him too. Chief also has SO MUCH LORE due to my likeness of him. He?s somewhere in my top 5 most favorite villagers of all time too, and also I ship him with Shari, and I?m probably the only person who does. I also loved to tease Chief back when he was living in my town. Hehe.

Alligator - Sly - Tossup between Sly and Gayle; not a fan of the species in general, but I like their designs better than the others.

Anteater - Anabelle - I've always liked her bright colours, and she was great when I had her before. She easily takes the top slot of the species for me.

Bear - Pinky - NL destroyed the bears for me, but the only ones I can really stand are Pinky and Tutu. Only ever had Pinky in WW and really liked her (also like her design), so I'm going with her.

Bird - Jay - Tough decision between Jay and Midge; both have nice designs.

Bull - Rodeo - I don't like any of them. Rodeo is the least awful; had him before and he was okay.

Cat - Mitzi - Super cute and my birthday buddy!

Chicken - Broffina - She and Becky are the only chickens I like. I currently have Broffina, though, and never had Becky, and I think I like Broffina's design slightly more.

Cow - Patty - Had her in WW and really liked her!

Cub - Poncho - This is so hard to choose! I like so many of them almost equally, but I'm leaning towards Poncho at the moment.

Deer - Bam - He was a starter in my first NL town and I loved him! He has a great design and was really fun to have in town.

Dog - Walker - Had him in WW a lot and he was pretty nice!

Duck - Pate - I'm actually surprising myself with this one since my first instinct is to choose either Bill or Maelle, but Pate has always been a very enjoyable villager for me to have and I love her colour scheme.

Eagle - Pierce - Celia is close, but Pierce edges her out because I've had him a few times, he was pretty nice, and I like his design.

Elephant - Eloise - She was either the first or second villager to ever give me her picture in my first WW town and was one of my first random move-ins, so I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to her.

Frog - Frobert - Frogs are tough to choose because none of them are amazing, but there are a few that are pretty good. I think I like Frobert's design the best, though.

Goat - Chevre - Huge sentimental attachment to her. My only starter in my first ever town that stayed for a long time, and even after she moved out, she moved back in later and still remembered me and I really loved that. She was one of the kindest villagers I've ever met.

Gorilla - Peewee - Out of this horrible species, Peewee is... the least horrible. But still awful.

Hamster - Apple - She's adorable!

Hippo - Bitty - Not a fan of the species in general, but she seems pretty cool in Pocket Camp.

Horse - Savannah - I like her design and she's pretty nice!

Kangaroo - Astrid - Another nice design.

Koala - Canberra - My favourite uchi; hated her at first but when she moved into my town she really grew on me!

Lion - Elvis - Hate all the lions, but I guess I hate Elvis the least.

Monkey - Tammi - I don't really like any of the monkeys except Tammi, who I had in CF and she was pretty nice.

Mouse - Bree - Had some good experiences with her and she has a nice design.

Octopus - Marina - I hate Octavian and I hate Zucker more, so by process of elimination, my favourite is Marina.

Ostrich - Gladys - I really like Julia's design, but I had Gladys in the past and liked her and I don't know; I'm just kind of attached to her now.

Penguin - Wade - So cute!

Pig - Gala - Love her design!

Rabbit - Francine - She was a starter in CF; wasn't a fan of her at first but she grew on me quickly! Definitely one of my all-time favourites now. She also gave me more pictures than any other villager (16 in the year and a half I had the town for).

Rhino - Tank - Tough decision, but I like his design.

Sheep - Muffy - My first uchi move-in for two of my three NL towns, and I really like her!

Squirrel - Filbert - My favourite villager! So cute; when I was little I'd spend hours in WW talking to him, not even caring about the repeating dialogue; I just loved talking to him so much.

Tiger - Bianca - Cute design!

Wolf - Skye - Love her colour scheme!

Alligators: Gotta be Drago. I think he is the only alligator I have had and I really enjoyed him.
Anteaters: No experience of them, but according to pictures and their personalities, Lulu seems very interesting.
Bears: Teddy for sure. I love him and his house so much!
Birds: I'm not a fan of bird villagers, but as a fan of Zelda games I'll go with Medli.
Bulls: I'll go with Rodeo!
Cats: There's so many cats... Tom is the best in my opinion, he was very dear to me in my last town!
Chickens: I'll go with Goose. (Feel the hypes?)
Cows: I'm going to skip this one.
Cubs: Marty, he's very cuuute! :3
Deer: I pretty much like them all. But Erik is definitely the winner with his antlers!
Dogs: I like Butch the most! My love towards cranky villagers!

Alligator - Alfonso - He was one of my starters in NL.

Anteater - Zoe - I'm not a fan of the anteaters, but I guess I'll go with Zoe who I had back on my GC town at one point.

Bear - Pinky - Not really a fan of the bears either, but I had Pinky in my WW town.

Bird - Jay - He's currently in my NL town and he's not bad. Definitely one of the better bird villagers.

Bull - Angus - I just think he's the best looking bull villager.

Cat - Tangy - Had her in WW, CF, and she's a dreamie in NL. Her design is really cute.

Chicken - Goose - He was one of my bffs in WW.

Cow - Patty - She's the best looking cow and she was in my WW town at one point.

Cub - Stitches - He moved into my town through the campsite and ever since then I've loved him.

Deer - Bam - I didn't intend on keeping him when he first moved in, but he ended up growing on me a lot.

Dog - Bones - I remember when he was in boxes in WW and I spam talked to him until he decided to stay. He's also been in one of my NL towns.

Duck - Drake - He's a starter villager in my NL town and is still currently there. He's talked about moving several times, but I keep making him stay a little longer.

Eagle - Apollo - I think he's cool looking and I've always liked him.

Elephant - Tia - Never had her, but she's cute.

Frog - Frobert - Another one of my bffs from back in WW. I think he was the first to give me his picture.

Goat - Chevre - I know I had her at one point, but I can't remember which game. She's also the cutest goat.

Gorilla - Hans - I don't really care for the gorillas, but Hans is kinda cute.

Hamster - Flurry - Ultra adorable.

Hippo - Harry - A starter in my first NL town. Although, he isn't very good looking, I liked him and eventually he gave me his picture.

Horse - Roscoe - This one was probably the hardest one since I also like Julian, Victoria, Papi, and Buck. Roscoe was another bff in WW and he's cool.

Kangaroo - Mathilda - Had her in WW.

Koala - Melba - She's cute.

Lion - Lionel - I don't like the lions. He's the least bad tho.

Monkey - Deli - I like his eyes.

Mouse - Bree - Not really fond of any of the mice, but she's the best one.

Octopus - Zucker - Never had an octopus villager, but I like Zucker's design the most.

Ostrich - Gladys - Another one of my favs from my WW town.

Penguin - Roald - He was in my GC town like forever.

Pig - Agnes - She's one of the best looking uchi villagers.

Rabbit - O'Hare - I think he might be my very favorite villager. He was the first to move into my NL and the first to give me his pic.

Rhino - Merengue - Super cute.

Squirrel - Marshal - I've had lots of squirrels in previous games, but Marshal is the best.

Tiger - Rolf - Never had him, but he's cool looking.

Wolf - Chief - Best looking wolf. He moved away from my NL town after not playing for a while so now I have to cycle until I'm eventually able to get him back.

ooh this one's hard. personally i've only ever had 2 alligator villagers in any of my towns that i made, but i sure like Del. always gonna have a soft spot for cranky villagers lol. i had him back in my first NL town in 2013.

Snooty! I haven't had her before but she's just so cute, plus her 'snifffff' phrase is very cute.

Bears
i was never a big fan of bear villagers, but i like Paula. i had her in my first NL town too and she always would give me medicine for my beestings lol.

Birds
Lucha. just look at him, he's so... cool.

Bulls
i really don't like any of the bulls, but if i had to choose... then Agnus.

Cats
ahhh i can only choose one,, then Kabuki. i honestly love every single cat villager though.

Chickens
i guess Ken?? i love the blue and black design on him,, plus smug villagers are my favorite lol

Cows
cows are one of my favorite animals in real life but uhh i don't really like any of them in the game? if i had to choose then uhh patty.

Cubs
i like Cheri a lot.

Deer
Fauna, she's so cute!!

Dogs
this one is hard,, but i really like Cherry. i love Goldie and Shep a lot too, though.

Molly. Ketchup is a close second though.

Keaton. he's my all-time favorite villager lmao. always gonna keep him in my town.

Baabara, she gives me those sleepy sheep vibes haha. but i also like Wendy.

Squirrels
Tasha. I like Caroline, Cece and Viche a lot too.

Tigers
a tie between Claudia and Rolf. i just love both of their designs.

Wolves
I can't decide, but i really love Kyle, Lobo, Vivian, Whitney, and Wolfgang. i also love Dobie because he looks like an old dog <3

Alligator - Sly, he has a memorable appearence

Anteater - Olaf, Not a fan of the anteaters, but his design looks nice

Bear - Tutu, I dunno, she was memorable to me when I designed her hous, so I'll go with her. She has a cute shirt.

Bird - Jacques, He looks like a hipster!


Bull - Angus, I hate the bull line because they're all ugly in my opinion, but I'll go with Angus because he's kinda funny.

Cat - Purrl, This one was tough, but I guess I like her design and personality the most.

Chicken - Betty, I don't like this line but her colours are nice I guess.

Cow - Tipper, She's nice. I have her in one of my towns.

Cub - Poncho, Have 'im in my town, he's a cutie!

Deer - Tie between Erik and Fauna. Erik because he looks like a moose, and Dauna because she's really cute and nice and I love her pink ears

Dog - Goldie! She's one of if not my all time fave! She was a starter in my first town and she has been there ever since. She has given me her picture, we're best friends. I love her house exterior and interior as well! Plus her dapper shirt fits her so well, and she looks like a yellow lab! Cherry is second favourite dog.

Duck - Molly, Need to get to know her better, she was a starter in my second town and I am having her stick around. I love her house exterior and interior too!

Eagle - Apollo, going with him since he has a nice, basic look about him.

Elephant - Eloise, Had her in the now-reset original version of my second copy, which was a cycling town. She was my "Anchor" villager for a while until she decided to move out.

Frog - Henry, While the frogs are my favourite species, Henry stands out as #1 because He's in my town, we're also best friends, he's a sweetie, has an amazing interior and exterior, wears a great shirt that looks very good on him, and I love him. I remember seeing his plot and thinking "Henry? Ugh, sounds like he's an ugly chicken. Dang it. Then I looked him up and was so happy! I have even decorated the outside of his ome with flowers, a Jacob's ladder, a bush and a pine tree! Other froggy favourites are Jeremaiah, Robbot, Wart jr., and Drift!

Goat - Kidd, he looks nice and neat

Gorilla - Peewee, He moved into a sucky spot and I wanted him to move out. However, he seemed like such a sweetheart! Maybe I'll have him in another town one day.

Hamster - Hamlet, Nice colours. Hope to see more from this line.

Hippo - Bubbles! Had her in my first town for a bit since she was a starter, got to know her. Asked to move and I agreed since her house was kind of in a bad spot. Was sad when she didn't send me her picture.

Horse - Julian, He looked nice and I got a fortune from selling him!

Kangaroo - Walt, Don't like this line but he's okay I guess. I like his colours.

Koala - Eugene, I love his rocker vibe, his cool shades, and his kindness!

Lion - Rory, He was a starter in my town. We became good bros until he decided to hit the trail and I let him. He sent me his picture with his goodbye and I display it in my home in memory.

Monkey - Champ, Because I like to believe that he is Porter/ is related to Porter.

Mouse - Broccolo, He looks cute aside from that odd hair thing going on.

Octopus - Zucker, he has nice colours. I like Marina too!

Ostrich - Blanche, She's pretty. I like Flora too!

Penguin - Sprinkle, She's got nice colours.

Pig - Maggie, She has a nice colour scheme and RV. Peggy looks cool too.

Rabbit - Dotty, I need to get to know her better, but I love her look and house and shirt!

Rhino - Merengue, Because I'm boring I guess lol

Sheep - Frita! Had her as my second (Ithink?) town move in, got to know her, wanted to move and I said yes, sent me her picture! I miss her a lil bit.

Squirrel - Blaire! Had her as my first (Ithink?) town move in (she plotted in an amazing spot!) , got to know her, wanted to move out one day and I said yes, sent me her picture. I miss her a little.

Tiger - Claudia, looks okay

Wolf - Freya, HAd her in my town for a bit, she was nice.
