Just curious as to everyone's methodology when it comes to making that scratch! Obviously, bug catching is a favorite, BUT what else? In addition to just in-game, what p2p ways do you make money? What always sells in your experience?

I can always sell off my extra DLC things for way too much. Also, bell booming with perfect fruits is awesome.

I usually go bug catching or fishing to make my bells :) and I've got all my fossils donated, so I usually sell those and sell stuff in Retail to my animals. I'm yet to try the stalk market, as I TT and my turnips would go bad, haha

Selling extra fossils to villagers at Re-Tail is my main way of making money. Bug catching and fishing comes next. I sell my fruit every few days, too - I have a ton of perfect cherry trees.

I usually spend some time at the island each day, catching 20-40 (depending on how long I'm willing to be there for) bugs and fish to take home. That's pretty much, other than the money rock, fossils, Luna, and other methods each day, the only way I get myself money.

Used to prefer fishing on the island, because I accidentally mowed down everything on the island and didn`t know yet how to make it all grow back. But now I go to the island and both fish and bughunt. But nowadays I don`t need that much bells, so I get by selling the ordinary stuff you find in your village.

Selling turnips, actually. I don't do it often but I like doing it when I can. I time travel too much to do it ;-; but the thrill of the 'WHEN WILL MY TURNIP PRICES BE HIGH?!' chase is pretty fun.

I like just wandering around my river catching fish. I have about 4mil saved, so I don't really bother with the island. I also buy turnips (when I remember) and sell things from my shop on here.

Turnips usually.
I usually halt all my time traveling for a day or two until I find good prices.

I like to sell things such as hybrids and also catch bugs. Hybrids can sometimes bring in big money, which I like!
I also once made 500k off of Teddy moving out.

Turnips. I used to bug hunt all the time, but that quickly became too tedious. I was unsure of the stalk market at first, but since I made 16 million with a friend via turnips, I'm hooked.

I have a total of 500+ hybrids in my town that I bred on my 2nd AC so I just sell them on here when I have the time. (which is very rarely unfortunately)

I initially started out the old-fashioned way - gathering fossils, fruit, gifts from villagers, seashells and fish/bugs.

As soon as the island unlocked, I went there and caught beetles.

Lastly, I used the beetle money to buy turnips, and made sure to find towns selling them for at least 400 bells a pop. Now that's all I need to do every in-game week, and I end up with a minimum of 3-4mil per in-game week.

Catching beetles is a given, but now that the majority of my town is bamboo, I dig up about three to four baskets of nine a day, with a few baskets of four to six I can sell for a good amount of bells on a daily basis. I've also got a lot of special stumps courtesy some silver axes I bought, so selling the occasional mushroom helps too. I've also got a large patch of perfect peach trees that I'm selling from for the moment as well, though I plan to leave the dead trees to make a "creepy forest" for my campground.

I actually don't mind beetle hunting. I haven't done it since the first month after getting the game, but it's something to do while listening to a podcast. It's a nice, sort of mindless way of getting a decent amount of bells when you have a good amount of time to kill.

Turnips were a much quicker, less tedious way of getting bells, though, at least from the few times I've invested in the stalk market.

I'm still collecting bugs/fish/sea shells.

Two words: the island. 10-12 palm trees can be VERY profitable.

Turnips have been fun, but now I'm just beetle catching and using Re-Tail's flea market feature to make a few extra bells.

Fruits would be my first in the list, since I planted enough trees to turn into an orchard. But I didn't harvest all the trees, usually 3-4 types of fruit per day, which can total up to 11k. Then the usual: fossils, fish catching, bugs, update my dream address (5,000 bells per update every day, why not XD)

I need to try the stalk market soon, it'll be something new for me while playing the game :)
