Favourite books?

My favorite book is actually a children's book: The Little Prince. I cry every time I read it.

I have been reading a lot of nonfiction the older I get. I read a lot about Japanese monsters and ghosts, as well as just general spooky stuff in general. I'm on a gothic fiction kick right now. My coworkers who follow me on goodreads make fun of me because they think I'm morbid, lol.

My favourite book is Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone. It gave me hope growing up. Hope that I was destined for greater things. That, yes I am different and picked on by everyone but I'm different for a reason. And I would find out why I'm different as I get older.

The Sea of Tranquility and the graphic novel Blankets. Actually started off TBT with my avatar and sig from Blankets too, very pretty book.

My favourites are:
- Harry Potter series by JK Rowling
- The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins
- Lunar Chronicle series by Marissa Meyer
- Maze Runner series by James Dasher
- The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
- Room by Emma Donoghue
- The Fault In Our Stars by John Greene
- Divergent series by Veronica Roth
- The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

I'm not really a big fan of reading, so I don't have a favorite book. Back then when I
was younger, there was however one book we read in school and I like it so much that
I bought it. It was the story about a little bat like creature and a guy who found it and
kept it and also took care of it. I can't remember the name of the book, but it was a cute
story after all.

My Youjo Senki (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) books are an absolute treasure to bewilder.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

A fellow Hitchiker's fan, nice!:D

I've read a bit of the Wheel of Time series but never finished it! I really need to go back to that! Also, I enjoy the short stories of Lovecraft and am getting into Poe!

i mostly read non-fiction stuff about 60s-70s politics/society/culture etc. but yeah anything not stereotype crime/sci-fi or fantasy i'm aight with.

I don't read much anymore but when I was younger I loved a book called The Amazing Bone, the story to it kind of just stuck to me because it was lowkey kind of disturbing. Some pig finds a bone and it's magic, then a fox tries to eat her but she manages to escape. Favorite book I read about 5 years ago is called the black book of secrets, book literally starts with a kid being locked in the basement waiting for his parents to come down with the dentist so they can sell his teeth for beer money. I can't remember much about the book anymore, but I honestly want to order it again just to reread it now.

To be honest, I HATE reading, however.. I found a really cool book
throught the Instagram of A r i a n e's sister.. it's called "Carnets de cerise"..
it's a children book and it's in french, so that's perfect for me, as
I love colourful books and reading in french helps me get better in the language,
as I am still learning :>

i don't really read alot unless manga counts lol but literature wise i was really into the harry potter books and also i really enjoyed reading The Martian aswell as the movie i like how the book sorta sounds like they are talking to you casually if that makes sense

I really love The Great Gatsby and Silver Linings Playbook. I love Gatsby because I have a soft spot for romantic tragedies. I really like Silver Linings Playbook because it shows you can be mentally ill (I'm bipolar and have anxiety) but still have a positive outlook on life and be happy.

*Flight to Arras by Antoine de Saint-Exup?ry never fails to capture my imagination. I love most of Saint-Exup?ry's writings, but Flight to Arras is the one that makes me look inward the most. His imagery and philosophy are just incredible.

*The Ciano Diaries by Galeazzo Ciano. This set of books reawakened my love for history a few years ago and are the reason I'm on the path I am today. Ciano was the son-in-law of Benito Mussolini and his diaries describe the inner workings of Fascist Italy. Fascinating, fascinating book.

I can't pick just one. I have to make a list. There are books that were favorites as a child that I go back to, and others I discovered as a teen and adult, so it's varied.

The Chronicles of Narnia - C.S. Lewis
The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkein
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
Persuasion - Jane Austen
The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Bradley
Shannara Trilogy - Terry Brooks
Little House Series - Laura Ingalls Wilder
The Autobiography of Henry VIII - Margaret George
Memoirs of Cleopatra - Margaret George
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll
To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Katherine - Anya Seton
Wicked - Gregory Maguire
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister - Gregory Maguire
Good Omens - Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaimen
Discworld Series - Terry Pratchett

There are so many more, but those will do, of the top of my head.
Geodessey Series
