anyway the three new lords are amazing and im excited because they all seem cool. i love all of them. dmitri i thought was boring as hell tho but timeskip got me like :rolleyes:

im definitely gonna marry edelgard. thank god shes bi. btw gay male blyeths got scammed. #LetTheGaysHaveClaude

I couldn't find a thread for this game yet, but it came out yesterday and I know a lot of people are playing it.

What houses did you guys pick?

also is claudes house any good if anyone chose him. ik theres less nobles so less crests coz i was thinking of doing my extreme run with him
 
Black Eagles all the way. Love, love, love Edelgard (and desperately wish she could’ve been the playable female protag instead - F!Byleth’s default outfit is a dumpster fire!).

I think F and M!Byleth both have a disastrous default outfit. Those giant sleeves are so awful...
 
I too voted Black Eagles.

If you don't like Byleth's default outfit, you can unlock a new outfit via Season Pass, by the way.

I picked Black Eagles and I like the characters so far. I'm playing on Hard/Classic.

On a side note, are you guys also getting a lot of bad level ups or is it just me? It seems like at least half the time I'm only getting 2-3 stats per level up, sometimes I get 4, and I rarely ever get more than that. It's at the point where I just want to retreat and start a battle over if I get a bunch of bad level ups on it. I've played for over 12 hours already and I'm only on chapter 3.

This is exactly what I ended up doing, lol (not entirely for the academy outfit, but it sure was a worthwhile perk - she looks soooo much better now!). :D

I've not had much chance to play it yet, only done the first tutorial battle. I'm a bit disappointed by how long I've been on it and been on it mostly watching cutscene and doing random crap that isn't the actual battles.

None of the characters have really stood out to me yet either. Maybe I'll change my mind playing it, but by now I've usually at least picked a couple favorites even if only based in visuals.

I'll probably enjoy it once I get more time for it. I just hope I'm not watching cutscenes and running around that area doing random crap most of the time once the tutorially bits are over.

From what I can tell, it's fair for this game to not get super good level ups all the time. If someone is getting consistently bad level ups, maybe you will need to drop them, but this game makes it pretty versatile to do what you want with your units.

My bernie sucks apparently. Everyone says shes overkill bc of her crest too but mine is like level 23 with 19 str

Mine just hit level 10 with 14 strength and she's already a beast. She deals more damage than almost anyone and is starting to double up on some enemies too now. I can see her becoming my best unit in time.

found out you can recruit more than 1 student from another house

ALSO IF YOU WANT A DANCER/SINGER DO NOT FORGET THIS:

theres a quest from rhea in month 12 (part 1) i think and if you do it you can choose to give a dancer class to someone. do not be like me and miss it hahahaha i wanted to give it to dorothea...

remember when soft resetting was because you accidentally got a unit killed and not because you ****ed up tea time

Blue or Gold. IDK l choose both because l have two switch profiles.
