Feedback tweak?

Since New Horizons came out, I’ve started using the feedback system again to help boost Wifi/Trade Ratings of newer and returning members, but something about the system has been bugging me about it. Namely, that there’s only three options to mark yourself as. Maybe I’m being a bit picky with the wording, but the majority of my interactions of late kinda boil down to HOST or VISITOR. I feel like this was the old wording, but it’s been so long since my New Leaf days. Either way, the majority of my interactions take place primarily in The Airport as I don’t like charging fees for people to just come to my town to press A for a couple seconds for a DIY or to sell turnips to my Nooklings. Buyer, Seller and Trader all make sense for other boards, so I was hoping that maybe if the system allows for it to list Host and Visitor as well. Feels deceitful to mark myself as something I wasn’t on the off chance someone was going through feedback to determine trustworthiness.

I agree, most of the time I'm picking up a DIY/opening my gates for DIYs and it's free so I have no idea how to mark the feedback. I usually mark it as trader in instances like that but that's not really true since we're not giving each other anything. I would love a visitor/host option to use for free visits.

I'm still new here but l did checked out what feedback is and l don't like there is only 3 options. I loved doing giveaways in the past when l never been part of any AC forums or websites. But it is weird why can there be an option like "giveaway buyer" and "giveaway seller"

Personally I would prefer the distinction between the two, but if that’s the best you can do then I will be okay with that.

Why not have all 4 as separate options rather than combine the 2.

I personally just use "trader" as a catch-all for anything that doesn't fit into the buyer or seller categories, even if not specifically trading

though tbh, I personally don't see the issue. since the only time I'm gonna be actively looking at a person's feedback is if they have a negative rating. of which I'd then want actual details as to why, and not just a minor classification markdown

I guess what I'm basically saying is that my thoughts are on the opposite end spectrum that considers this distinction to of always been absolutely worthless no matter how few or many options there are. with the only part worth looking at (beyond the feedback type left) possibly being the notes

The other option is to go back to how it was before with just Host, Visitor, and Trader. At the moment we are only able to set up 3 categories.
