Fence help

Hi. Can anyone help me please, I want to customize some of my fencing, it says that I need to learn how to customize but when I go to resident services the option isn't showing. Has anyone else had this?

How far are you into your island? If you haven't taken Tom Nook's customization course as part of the into, you won't be able to customize them yet. Also, I'm not entirely sure, but fences may be something that is only customizable through Cyrus at Harvey's Island. You'll have to unlock Harvey's island too, if you haven't yet.

I've done the customization course I'm sure and I've got Harvey's island too and Cyrus. I'm quite far into my island far as when I ask him what should I do he has no jobs for me.

Oh okay, good to know! You don't have to ask to customize, just take your fencing and some customization kits (that your purchase from the cabinets at Nooks Cranny) to a DIY table and when it brings up the craft menu, select "Customize" instead.

I've sorted it now thank you, I took it to Cyrus. Good to know though.
