Finally cooking!!

My wildest dream came true! I know everyone else is excited about the new update but I haven't seen anyone hyped about the cooking part. Is anyone else excited??

i'm SOOOO excited for the cooking!!! farming and cooking are probably what i'm most excited about from the base update tbh, food items have always been my favourite decor type in ac so i'm really excited we get a lot more of those

I wonder if we can give some to the villagers. Winter is coming to the Northern Hemisphere really soon, I would love to give them some soup, but I know they might just sit it in their house or something.
But that's ok. ❤

What would be really cute is since they can come over, maybe you can like set a lunch date or something and you have to cook stuff and have it on a table or counter for them to eat when they come over. I would adore that!

With the cooking, it gives me Harvest Moon vibes, and that’s not a bad thing. I’m glad there’s an option for cooking but I’ll be honest, I’m more hyped about other things introduced in this update.

I've been wanting some more generic (read: non-bakery/sweets) food items for a long time! I can finally redo parts of my island/houses to how I originally envisioned them.

Cooking and farming are great additions! I love that I can now grow multiple crops for my farm instead of just pumpkins! I love that there's so much more variety. The inclusion of many new food items and DIYs were also very necessary. Players can now be very creative when it comes to decorating, like having restaurants, better dining rooms and kitchens, or even outdoor cooking venues like a large picnic. The possibilities are endless! It also makes me very excited for this years Harvest Festival later in November.

AAAAH! I'm so happy!!! ^_^

I literally jumped out of my chair while watching the Direct, I was so excited to see all the new stuff! Especially the food! And you even get to cook it yourself, and grow the ingredients! AAAAH!

Now my only concern is that some of the food items that were shown during the HHP part of the Direct will be exclusive to it--I have no intention of buying it, since I already have HHD, and I don't have a NSO subscription and don't plan on getting an even more expensive one, either. ^o^;>

I wasn't sure if it'd ever really happen, but farming (outside of just pumpkins) and cooking have been features I've been dying to see in AC, and I'm so glad they're coming!! I've also thought that ACNH was sorely lacking in food items compared to New Leaf, and it seems like that's finally getting fixed—I spotted a few food items I've been hoping would return in the Direct. ;v;
Honestly, I can't wait to set up a little farm, harvest my crops, and make all the new foods—and if there's a tie-in to fishing/diving, I'll probably be doing that stuff a lot more too.

I'm so excited for cooking!! farming/cooking have always been one of my favourite aspects of these kind of video games (stardew valley, story of seasons etc) so I absolutely love that it's coming to animal crossing!! already setting up my farm so I can get ingredients asap, and this opens up so many more possibilities in terms of food related areas on islands!

I would love to be able to invite villagers to my house for a meal. I have had lazy villagers ask if I was cooking and if they could come over and try it.

I really love farming in games like harvest moon and other farming games because you actually have to in order to make money. I don't see much of this aspect in animal crossing so farming is useless after you have all the new food items. It's a nice detail but no real game changer for me. The new crops will be good decoration tho!

This would certainly make getting villager photos a lot more easier. I get tired of gifting the same gifts of fruits so they dont mess up their original interiors.

i just hope it wont be very time consuming/stressful to grow veggies for the cooking aaaahhhh flowers back in acnl used to stress me out because if they werent watered theyd wither, im hoping they wont make it like that TT
