Sane Cop - Your traditional cop. All investigations of theirs will be accurate.
Insane Cop - A cop with a loose screw. All investigations of theirs will be inaccurate.
Naive Cop - A cop who believes the best in everyone. All investigations of theirs will come back "innocent".
Paranoid Cop - A cop who's been hardened by the world. All investigations of theirs will come back "guilty'.
So I personally know that I am either the Sane Cop or the Naive Cop based on the fact that Byngo came back as town to me.
Seroja said Byngo returned scum for her, which means she could either be Insane Cop or Paranoid Cop.
So you have to realize, if both of you returned town on each other (and with Byngo dead), the chances of you both being town and both being Sane and Naive Cops is impossible from my point of view, right? I know I'm one of those two, which means that it has to be one of you two lying. Seroja is basically confirmed at this point since she has no conflicting claims on her.
Look at Punchy's reaction to when Philemon voted for me. To me, it looks like Punchy was excited because, if I was actually lynched (a town death), then the mafia would win. However Kat clarified after Philemon voted for me that the day won't end until actual end of day or skip votes are cast.
We have two options here, from my point of view: Lynch Punchy or No Lynch. Once another person dies and another round of actions goes through, it will probably help us narrow down the last scum.

Also the fact that you confirmed Philemon just based on the fact he returned innocent on you is probably a bit of a slip. You wouldn't have the grounds to think of Philemon as truthful unless you were scum and knew him to be town.

Alright, am awake, here's my thoughts on Trundle's defense. Trundle, the same applies to you. 3 people are claiming Sane/Naive/Scum and only one could be scum, and I agree with Punchy on you being scummy. And suggesting no lynch when we're one day from lylo is ludicrous. My vote stands.

Morgan, head deep in tactical books, barely registered the commotion a few feet away. It wasn't until he heard his mother's scream that he looked up, worry furrowing Trundle's eyebrows. Had the sparring match gone south? Had the Risen ambushed everyone? A million questions raced through his mind but nothing could have prepared him for what he saw.
An...abomination of a girl. It looked like Lissa, but at the same time, Lissa was never so.... deranged. The Lissa look-a-like was setting the field ablaze with a torch of a make he didn't recognize, while PunchyDaHufflepuff shooed the flames away with his sword, to little success. His mother, no where to be found. Panic and fear possessed him, and he rushed to his father's side.
"Father! What's going on? Where's mother? What happened to Aunt Lissa?"
"No time for answers Morgan, we need to get out alive first."
"But mother-!"
"She'd want us to get out first!" Chrom snapped, causing Morgan to visibly recoil. "Sorry just... I have no idea, but I know she'd want us to prioritize our lives over wondering about hers. It pains me as well."
"No! I won't accept leaving mother behind!" The young tactician, contrary to his title, abandoned all efforts towards escape and made a beeline for the look-a-like. Chrom's pleas in the background fell on deaf ears.
By the time Morgan approached the entity, the grass around him been charred to a crisp. Ashes rose lazily in the air, still glowing from their merciless rampage. The stare that Philemon120 gave him sent chills down his spine.
Neither spoke for a brief moment, as if a spell had been cast on the two. All that surrounded them was the cackling of the flames. But it was Lissa who first broke the silence.
"OwO whats this"
Morgan recoiled. "Gods, what are you going on about!?"
"OWO TIEM 2 DIE BANG BANG ITS HIGH NOON BBY"
With that, the flames sparked back to life. They surrounded everything , sucking away the oxygen and charring his flesh. He tried battling through it but succumbed in mere moments. Chrom, tried as he might to escape, shared a similar fate.
Robin's scream had been over a bug. Seroja came back to see her family charred to a crisp and the Lissa look-a-like sitting smugly in the center, pulling apart the flesh of her son's body. Every inch of her being screamed vengeance, but as the last living royal of the current family (aside from her daughter who wouldn't be accepted to the throne), she held herself back and fled. Today was truly a tragedy for Ylisse, and the lone ruler swore that this tragedy would be avenged.

Yeah, for the reasons that it 1. Definitively gets rid of towns opportunities to ML on D1 (not that they should be anyway) and 2. Gives scum undue space to blend in by hiding within the absence of one cops information
