I got one up and I need to configure something with it so can anyone tell me where I can configure it on the newest IE?

You don't have to, as far as I know. I'd advise checking the Security Centre in the Control Panel if you have SP2.

it depends on the kind of firewall it is. if its build into ur router, ull need to type in ur IP address, and hten i cant help u. if its the microsoft one, again, i cant help you, but ull need the admninistrator account on ur comp to do everything with that. if its IE's, there should be something in the "tools" area.

unless ur realy good with computers, i wouldnt do nething with it urself. ull prb end up either destroying ur comp, or opening it up to hackers and virisis, which will then destroy your comp, id get the techy in ur family to do it for you.

interesting fact: an unprotected computer exposed to the internet will download a self-propogating worm in about 4 minutes.

Actually, I'm not worrying about that now, I need help with another thing: how would I; Ensure you have adequate hard drive space. Patching requires enough space for the patched files to be re-written to your hard drive. These files can be more than 1 gigabyte in size.

I copied the part off of something. I just need to do that to play a game.

And I wanna.

And I need to do that.

I really wanna play that game.

REALLY.

like i said, get the teckey/admin in ur fam to do this for you. also, this realy isnt the right place to get help on this. id sugest de-fraging ur drive, if you know what ur doing. before you do that, run your anti-viris and anti-spywear programs. and again, DONT DO THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT UR DOING!!!!!!!!!

alternitivley, you could just get a new hard drive. and get someone who knows what there doing to install it.
