Hi,
I've recently discovered the world of Animal Crossing in the New Horizons game and I haven't been able to put it down. Not really sure why I didnt play the previous games even though I knew about them!
Currently enjoying the new swimming update and collecting the mermaid furniture :)

I can't wait. I'm not sure what is new in this game compared to the other ones and whether it will be a previous feature like the swimming. Either way I'm loving the game!

The major new differences are, we're on an island instead of a town, crafting, and terraforming. There's little differences to, but I can't think of them right now.

I haven't got to the terraforming stage that I know off unless it's there and I just dont know it.
 
Welcome! I love seeing new people come to the series, it's such a great series ☺

I've played since the original Gamecube one and I loved that one, but (and I can't emphasize this enough), this one is SO much bigger and better (IMO), and so different and yet... the same in terms of charmingness. Crafting was pretty much unheard of before this game, terraforming was a wild dream that only hackers could accomplish. In previous games, getting an axe to chop down trees usually took quite awhile- now you basically start with an axe! Even if the first one can't fully chop down trees, I still never thought I'd see the day. 😲
(lol, I'm rambling like a cranky villager 😂)

Thank you. I had a 3ds and I kept debating whether to buy it on there but once we were in lockdown I decided to sell that and just buy the switch 😂. My social media was filled with New Horizon gameplay and that sold it for me. I used to like Harvest Moon but that's nothing compared to this! (Clearly I ramble aswell 😁)
