Fishing out of season?

Trying to figure if it is possible, I don't want to Time travel, but a citizen actually asked me for a June only fish, and now it is August.. so is it even possible to grind hours for a fish that may or may not be there?

I don't know, villagers sometimes ask for things that are somewhat out of reach, otherwise. Muffy suggested I get her an apple with not one in sight...since you don't want to time travel, I'd ignore the request. I don't time travel either so I'm the same way.

I caught a saddled bichir just the other day. They're rare, but they are around.

Yeah, they're still in season. I've only caught one in the 2+ months I've been playing though...

I've been asked for a nibble fish, which was out of season. It's a river fish, so I couldn't get it on the island. I might have been able to get it in one of the tours, but I'm not prepared to put that much effort into it.

They're both still available! Saddled bichirs from June to September, nibble fishes from May to September.

I hate when you're asked for something you can't provide. I have one mature orange tree and Beardo asked me for an orange... right after I'd picked and planted the three in town. *headdesk* I avoided him for the rest of the day.
