Buying Fishing Rod

So since I've started my AC game a few days ago the fishing rod isn't showing up in Nooklings Junction for me to buy.

I'm sick of catching bugs in my spare time to make bells. Would someone please be able to sell me a normal fishing rod. I'll pay 1000 bells for it. Please, I'm desperate to start fishing and fill up my museum with fish.
