Fishing Tournament: Why you can't get all the items in the fish set in one day!

In today's fishing tournament, I was frustrated over getting an incredible number of repeating fish set items as well as random furniture items. It then hit me to consult my Japanese game guide as to why this is so. (Apparently I was having a Slow Brain Day.) And the reason is because all the items have been separated into two groups, Group A items and Group B items, and the groups alternate in the fishing tournaments. So, to complete your set, you must participate in at least 2 tournaments.

Group A: squid chair, sea anemone bed, dab table, football fish lamp, crab clock, fish floor
Group B: jellyfish lamp, red snapper sofa, octopus chair, puffer fish TV, olive flounder table, fish wall

Of course, you get random furniture items if you're not lucky enough.

And now you know. I feel better now... no, not really.

I knew this.

But you can get the fish set in one day. Catch a bunch of fish and take them to another town with a low top score and is giving out the other set. It won't affect the standing in that town, but you can get the furniture.
