NOTE: Don't take this entry too seriously. The common facts are true. This entry is overanalyzing facts. You may read as you wish, but it doesn't mean the facts aren't true.

I decided that I'm going to do another blog entry today, but it's the last time I'll write two entries in one day rather than one. And guess what: it's the 5th entry since a blog checkpoint, so I'll be doing another fact entry.

So I can name a few facts that the world knows is true, but I can also make explanations behind them to show how they're not always true. Please note that these are not misconceptions. I'm just overanalyzing.

FACT #1: 2 + 2 = 4.

If you know your math right, then two plus two does equal four. But you may never know the secret behind the numbers. Are they really integers, or are they decimals rounded off to the nearest integer. Now that is something I can explain. The 2's could be rounded up from 1.5 to 1.749 or rounded down from 2.25 to 2.49 to the nearest integer. If that's so, then here's what's going on. Let's say that both 2's are rounded off from 1.6. Yeah, it's true that 1.6 can be rounded up to 2, but what if we add them. We get a sum of 3.2, which is too small to round up to 4, so 2+2=3 can be true. How about this? Both 2's are rounded down from 2.4. If we add them, we get 4.8, which can be rounded up to 5. So this proves that 2+2=5. In fact, this is true to all sums. And don't forget about reflections. If we flip one 2 over and rotate the sum, then 2+2=fish.

FACT 2: Penguins can't fly.

They can't fly, but they can swim faster than any other bird. But is it true that it's always impossible for penguins to fly? Naturally, yes, but let's bring up the aircrafts. Planes, jets, hot air balloons, and other things like that are airborne transportation, and if we load a one of those vehicles full of penguins, then here we have it. Penguins can fly, though only with human help. But what else can I say here? Pigs. We may heard the old saying "when pigs fly" or something about flying pigs. Pigs can't even jump. So when we say "when pigs fly", we mean that it's never going to happen. But now that we have airplanes, we can take pigs onto a plane and fly, but don't do that. I don't think we should be allowed to have pets on a play. But now that pigs can fly due to airborne transportation being possible, it's time to search for something else saying that "it's not going to happen".

FACT 3: The world's fastest land animal is a cheetah.

Can I safely say that it's still true since we have transportation vehicles? Maybe you should look at the speed limits when driving. Some will allow you to drive at 75 miles an hour. Cheetahs can run no faster than 70 miles an hour. So who's the fastest land animal now? Humans. And don't forget about racecar racing. People in racecars can drive even faster.

FACT 4: Mount Everest is the world's tallest mountain.

Okay, there is another fact that is more true than this. It's true that Mount Everest is the world's highest point, but Mauna Kea is actually the world's tallest mountain. Mount Everest just sits on a mountain range. Mauna Kea's height is measured from the ocean floor, not ses level. The distance from the peak of Mauna Kea to the ocean floor is longer than the distance from sea level to Mount Everest.

FACT 5: New York City is the largest city in the United States.

And it's still true, but also ambiguous. Are we measuring in population size or area? If we're measuring how big a city in area like how we do with states and countries, then Anchorage, Alaska is the largest city in the United States. New York City doesn't even outsize Houston in area. But it's still the city with the largest population.
