Flick and CJ's models

I honestly hope not. Because you need 3 of the same specimen to make the model, which would make the task of completing the catalog simply maddening.

i agree. i cannot imagine trying to get a coelacanth or whale shark model.
i really hope that it doesn't count.

I'm not smart enough to know what you two are talking about.
Both Flick and CJ will send you an art model of any fish / bug, as long as you give them three of the same bug / fish that you would like as a lil statue type thing

I have not received one yet, so I can't tell, but... If it appears in the catalog, then yes. If it does not (like the posters), then no... I think.

Trust me, the Whale Shark isn't that bad, at least not compared to the Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin and the Hammer Shark (which I haven't gotten yet.

While I've caught at least 5 Whale Sharks and 2 Coelacanths, I spent countless bait to find the Mahi Mahi and the Blue Marlin. Even the Giant Trevally wasn't that hard to find, although I never found another one. The Hammer Shark, the Golden Trout and the Stringfish may very well be stuff of legends at this point.

I think it does because it shows up in the Nook catalogue. I also don't mind it with how easy it is to catch rare bugs/fish on mystery islands.

I've actually already caught 3 coelacanths, but 1 is in the museum so I'm keeping the others in my storage. I'm going to do this with all rare fish from now on.

They might? Not too sure.

A little off tangent but I wished the critter models were larger and could be hung on walls.

I hope they aren't all on stands.
