For Those who haven't played Festivale from last year (2021)

The event is basically you just collecting feathers and giving them to pave just to get different color variants of the Festivale items you already got from your shop.

There is only 1 DIY for Rainbow Feather and the Festivale Float

There is no other new items or diys so thats pretty much it. Whats even worse and this is something I forgot to mention if you miss out on the event, there is no way to get the DIY or get any of the Festivale items. They are all gone after the event is over. So you have no other choice but to time travel backwards just to go back to the event.

The Good news is that I learned that if you go to someone's island during the Festivale event you can actually catch feathers, get the DIY from Pave, and you can give him all the feathers and you do that enough times you actually get the special item. I also got the reactions from the Nook shop and you can also trade with the villagers. Idk why I didn't found out about this sooner but after doing it with my 2nd island I was surprised by this.

I am pleased to say that you can customize the Festivale items by going to Harvs island and talk to Cyrus to change it. You no longer have to worry about using Rainbow Feathers.

i’m still in january in-game (i have lots of catching up to do), but i wish this event received an update so that there’d be new items, clothes, reactions, etc because if it’s exactly like it was last year, i don’t really have any incentive to participate other than to maybe catch some feathers. i’m glad that i don’t have to use rainbow feathers to customize the furniture anymore, though.
