I haven't seen a clothes line in a long time.
Are you really that ignorant to not know what its like to live in Japan?
Wow, what are you talking about? You think by saying that I haven't see a clothes line in a long time, you think I mean that applies to the entire world?

And even so, about your statement: of course anyone who hasn't lived in Japan wouldn't know what it's like, just as anyone over there doesn't know what it's like to live over here.

First of all. I didn't say the world. Japan is what I said. Also, you don't have to live somewhere to know about it. Three, Japan may have thought America's roads were made of gold a long time ago but they know more about America than you think. One example is the amount of movies over there coming from America.

And they get The Colbert Report over there so to say they don't know America is crazy!

Steven Colbert is America!

My point was that you thought I meant something like "it's a bad and stupid idea, and they should remove", when all I did was point it out.

I interpreted it that you didn't think a lot of people use clotheslines.
