New commission complete for @Corrie! This was definitely a challenging piece, as there were no references, only the images evoked through words! It forces me to learn to be confident in my own abilities and imagination and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it came out! I used real Kanji and drew manga covers based off of some personal favorites! The kitty LCD screen came to mind from an article I read not too long ago about there being 3D cats who seem to almost jump out of billboards in Japan.

Was going to wait til I actually started S/V to reveal my starter choice, but since I know who I’m picking and I don’t feel well today, I’m going to reveal it now! Went out of my element with a chibi of my rep. Also used a pose I don’t ever try using!

Would you be willing to draw a character with no visual references? I was thinking I'd like to see a picture of one of my favorite characters from literature, Sara Crewe from A Little Princess. There are plenty of written descriptions of her to work from, and I could make suggestions for the pose and stuff.
Technically there have been illustrations before, and there was that anime from the 80's, but I'd like to see what you create without seeing those, if you haven't already. ^o^;>

I have some extra Christmas present collectibles, if you happened to want any of those, or I have an extra Gastly egg, if you happened to want that. Otherwise, I'm happy to pay you TBT for the drawing, if you want to draw it. Or maybe even an art trade, if you wanted another drawing in my style after the one I made for you for the Secret Santa thing.

Hey! Yes, I’d be happy to draw off descriptions only! I‘m all set on Christmas collectibles - I’m actually trying to sell them, and I already have a Ghastly egg I’m trying to sell too. I can’t think of anything else I’d like drawn for me at the moment, but I‘ll keep an art swap in mind for the future! So, tbt would be perfect!
