Forgotten Villagers Poll #11: Ostriches

One of my favorite villager species. There's only 2 options here, but the results could still be tight.

Rio looks like a party, with what appear to be rainbow feathers which I'm assuming some people will like, while Nindori could buddy up with Coco.

I'm not crazy about Peppy villagers in the first place, so I threw my vote to Nindori.

Ooh, I kind of like Rio! Her colors are great and festive and I bet she would look really cute with the better graphics. I would definitely want her given a new personality of sisterly, though, since I feel like she has a "hip big sister whose makeup you wanna steal" vibe going on. And we needs more sisterlies in general.

I mean, Nindori's cute, but just not as exciting to me. Also, he was apparently a magazine collab and became the magazine's official mascot, so I feel like he's probably less likely to come back (unless they team up with the magazine again, I guess)

I chose Nindori because Rio reminds me too much of Pave, just red.

Nindori's huge dilated pupils are.. pretty spooky.

If I looked through my peephole and saw this, I would cry inside.
I said Rio despite her not being a wow factor design. Her star cheeks are cute though.

I chose Rio because I think she's pretty cute and I actually had her in my OG Animal Crossing town once upon a time. I agree with @Serabee that swapping her personality to sisterly would be a great move.

I went with Rio, as I like her design more. Nindiro's almost pure black eyes kinda just scare me and make me want nothing to do with him.

Aaaah, no cranky ostriches? I think both Nindori and Rio are cute, but I wouldn't mind a cranky ostrich villager!

I love the idea of a jock ostrich so for that reason I lean towards Nindori but definitely need to fix something about those eyes
(I know there's Sprocket who is a jock but he's a robot and so that makes it weird to me idk)

Rio could just never compete with the beauty that is the peppy ostrich Flora so Nindori gets my vote.

Wow, this one is extremely close. Before casting my vote, I really expected one to have a decent-sized lead. I voted for Nindori. I like his design. His eyes are strange, yes, but it makes his character stand out.

Rio is so cute! There’s just so much going on with her. I would love to see how she ended up looking as a new horizons villager. She looks kind of like she should be a snooty, similar to pango.

she does look like she and pave would be besties…or bitter rivals.

Nindoroi because they look creepy. They'd go well with haunted themes like Coco, Lucky and so forth.

I love Rio's rainbow feathers and the stars on her face! Her red colour scheme looks pretty cool, too. I think she looks more like a snooty or uchi, but I'd love to get her; she has such an interesting and flashy design!

I went with Rio as her star markings make her look like a performer, and I like the idea of one day having a village full of clown/circus type villagers lol

I typically prefer villagers with more simple designs so it's an easy vote for Nindori. He also reminds me of Coco as a few have already mentioned, which is a bonus because she's one of my favorites!

I voted for Rio as her design is slightly more interesting and I really like her multicoloured feathers. Nindori doesn't really have a bad overall design but I'm not overly keen on his eyes.

neither of them really stand out to me but my vote ultimately went to rio! she’s actually pretty cute and i definitely wouldn’t be opposed to having another villager with a rainbow incorporated into their design. :’)
