Fortune Cookie Items

First of all, how do you think we will obtain Nintendo themed items in this game. In New Leaf it was fortune cookies, but since Play Coins don't exist on the Switch, they might have to figure out another way to do it. Maybe they will make fortune cookies cost MEOW tickets instead? Or perhaps some completely new currency I seriously hope it's not Leaf Tickets.

What kinds of Nintendo themed items would you like to see in this game? If I had the power to add anything, I would probably add a wooden model of the Whittles from Mario Galaxy 2. I don't think they would ever really be added in, but I always liked them for some reason.

As a Pikmin fan, I would appreciate if they added the Pikmin Onion as an item. This I could actually see happening since the Onions are a lot more iconic.

Also, what would you think of having Nintendo themed public works projects? I probably wouldn't use them in my town, but I'm sure there would be a lot of people who really enjoy them.

They could always just become regular orderables, or maybe they'll make a specific thing to gift them, like the point system in City Folk. I never use these things other than collecting, so I'm not too worried about it.

Public works projects could be a nice addition, but again, I likely wouldn't use it.

Hmm I have no idea how they will be delivered but please don't let it be from balloons cause I'm never bothered to pop those things. Also nothing associated with PC cause I don't play it T_T

I don't really display those fortune cookie items but I do like collecting them, especially the zelda items

I could imagine that MEOW tickets could become a bigger thing, maybe they could add
more ways to earn them? The return of the point system from City Folk could also be a
option. Or maybe items that fit could also be selling at the Island shop and you buy these
with medals. I just hope they don't add those Leaf Tickets, I mean, I don't play Pocket
Camp, but I heard and read enough stuff about the issues with them online from angry
players and yeah... No, thanks.

What I would love to see would be Pokemon related items. Having a Pokeball that your
character could hold in it's hand (just like a wand) and also be able to imitate the move
of throwing said ball would be really nice. Or Kirby related items, like imagine having a
Kirby plush which you could put on a pillow (for example) and he says "Poyo!" if you
stand in front of him and press A. That would be so cool!

Not only the hat, we need a entire Waluigi outfit! With hat (or alternative a mask/helmet
which is the hat and his nose in one), shirt, pants and shoes (in the original shape of course).
Something that would be also nice: A Waluigi statue that makes "WAH!".

Speaking of outfits: What would be nice as new Fortune Cookie items are complete outfits
of characters from the Super Mario Bros. universe in general you can collect. Like a Peach/
Daisy outfit with a dress and crown, alternative a Rosalina outfit with a wand, Mario, Luigi,
Wario and said Waluigi outfits that actually looks like the real outfits they wear and so on.
Like, there are outfits of Link and Zelda which looks like the actual outfits of them, so why
not more of those outfits from other characters?

I hope that they'll introduce a system like the pokemon wonder trade system. You send out an item, and recieve a random item from another player. When you recieve and item you'll rate it a 'great' or 'ok' or something like that. Ie if a user sent out a pit fall seed in hopes of getting a nice item like 99k bells or gracie furniture, you could give them a bad rating, and they'll be blocked from using the feature for a few days. However if the gifts you send out get lots of 'great' ratings, isabelle will send you a fortune cookie item in the mail every 5 'greats'...... or something like that.

The rating system might be pretty abuseable, so maybe only certain items should be tradeable, no value of bells under 5k, no pit falls, etc. Either way having it be a reward for random gifting sounds nice. And, since the whole system is automatic, even more anti social players could use this system to get different fruits etc. In fact, if they expand of fruit/food growing generally, this system could be food only, to keep it fair and make sure no one loses anything super rare to get a crummy gift in exchange.

They'll do something other than the fortune cookies, but it will still involove the Nookling's shop in a way.
