Sometimes TBT takes forever to load and it won't load no matter what. I'd say just give it a bit, and if it still doesn't work, check your wi-fi or try restarting your computer.

Torrents don't mind internet outages though due to how the download is split into blocks and run through a checksum thingmabob.

Having a torrent running at full throttle will slow down your internet though, even more so as it will be both downloading and uploading simultaneously.

Moderators: We are talking about perfectly legal torrents such as Linux images.
